Nothing! There was nothing we din't like! Attention to finer details is evident and it was all beyond our expectations, and the place is impeccably maintained.

The place is spotlessly clean, absolutely everything is provided, all you need to take with you is your food. The staff are very humble, friendly and most willing to help in every way. The tents are beautifully laid out, well planned and organised. We will go back as soon as we can!!I We don't think there is much they can improve on, it's perfect! It's really the best tented camp we've stayed at, if you're looking for relaxation and a stress-free stay, Ouklip is the place to go.

Staff could be seen walking on the opposite side of the fence in the bush, (maintenance?) breaking the idea that the wild was truly on the other side.

Exceptional services from OuKlip. Facilities were clean, well maintained and private. The staff at Ouklip were friendly and informative. You can book other services through them, such as game drives and walks.

Nothing was out of place to validate a complaint. Maybe they can be somewhat more gentle in their approach when a guest does something that grants a "warning" like opening the gate prematurely.

The tents are well equipped and a comfortable distance from each other. Tastefully finished and appropriate for environment. Although there wasn't always a lot of animals to see on the game drives, it was very informative and we learnt a lot about the reserve as well as the animals and vegetation.

The tent gets so hot, although they had a fan, it was eventually just moving hot air around. Also don’t forget mosquito repellent.

The tented suits were well equipped. They really thought of everything, and felt like a home away from home.

The lodge was amazing! Exceptionally clean and tidy, and the small attention to detail was commendable. The tents are very spacious and they are equipt with everything you need! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a real, affordable bush experience. Can't wait to go back :)

Bed is a bit hard for my liking

There is everything you need, kitchen has everything you should need for your stay. Room is big, bathroom has bath and shower. Staff are friendly

The tent was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Our tent was on the fence in front of a water hole so we got the chance to see some wildlife in the evening and early mornings. The pool was lovely and the staff very welcoming. My husband especially like the idea of an outdoor kitchen :)

What was not to like? Perfectly kitted out - no need to bring any equipment. A big storm came very unexpectedly and the friendly staff came immediately to close the open window sides and dry the veranda once the storm was done. Wonderful little shop on site aswell for any last minute “forgotten items”.

Ouklip's location within Dinokeng Game Reserve is an excellent location, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, the staff are friendly and the tent was very nice, the outside kitchen is very nice and well equipped as well, the Boma/Braai area is a very good place to sit and relax, while using the Boma area Nyala's and Springbok would occasionally pass right next to you.

If there is one thing that I could suggest, I'm not sure about the other tents but there was no shower door or walls and I felt extremely guilty that the floor was getting so wet and that I put towels down to try and stop the water running down the floor towards the opposite end of the tent. This water is making the paint on the bath peel and the wooden cabinet is getting damaged. I love the experience you are trying to create I just think in the long run it may be more cost effective to put glass around the shower.

I am usually a Kruger Park fan, but the comparison is chalk and cheese. The area around the tent is clean, the tent and all that is inside is clean the fridge and the utensils are clean. Outstanding.

Take an appropriate car to do your own drives as well as the ones they offer. Although it gets dark and can see some stars... Still some light pollution and can not fully appreciate the beautiful sky, but it was good enough to amazed any city family.

It has everything you might need and more. We had an amazing experience, and we were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. We got 3 tents near to each other, and it gave us the perfect space to be together and still breathe. Bed is amazingly comfortable. The bathroom is incredible. The shower is a bit of hit and miss with the temperature. They also have their own selection of extention power cables in case you forget yours. Driver is very knowledgeable with a great eye for spotting animals, but sadly, when we stayed there, we didn't have the time to get to the area where Lions and Elephants were. We loved it all. I am looking forward to our next visit. The best of all, for me, was the detox on social media. It gives you the chance to stop and appreciate nature and the stars

There is nothing to dislike, Ouklip Game Lodge was as amazing as we remembered it!

It was our second visit to Ouklip Game Lodge, and we just can't get enough!!!! We were there in June 2021 and absolutely loved it. Just love everything,the wild life walking around in camp and the swimming pools and private bomas and staff are wonderful too. Will definitely see us again in the near future! We really enjoyed Gilbert's game drive!!!!

This place was so cute, so clean and so quiet. The staff was unbelievable. They really made the experience so much better than other lodge/tent sites. The tents were spaced far enough apart to where you felt you had privacy. All basic cooking utensils were provided. The cleaning crew came through and cleaned our site for a small R100 fee which was so worth it. If you needed ice or fire wood they would deliver it to your tent. They had a small store which had any other necessities you could need. Even meats, alcohol, toiletries and candy. The game drive was amazing, we were able to see Rhinos and elephants which was awesome. The rhinos even came close enough to our car that I could almost touch them. The grounds were beautifully groomed and the overall feel of the facility felt like I was in the bush. Which is such a pleasure. The price was so fair and everything was top notch. The only reason I am not giving 10 stars is because we were only allowed to tour the East and south side of the reserve, but we were told majority of the animals were on the north side. Other than that it was spectacular. We WILL be back
