    Everything was great.

Modern apartment in Marloth Park. Furnishings are nice and you can watch the wildlife from everywhere in the house since there are plenty of windows.

Some minor issues that are not worth mentioning…

This is a very nice accommodation with a modern feel and touch… The thing we liked the most, were the beautiful animals roaming around and even coming towards your terrace… zebra’s, antilopes, impalas, kudus, warthogs and beautiful birds were regular seen guests… The terrace itself is nicely decorated and has comfy (lounge)chairs to sit in and a very nice swimming pool… it has a nice braai facility as well. The house is very well designed… Bedding and bathroom were nice too. When it’s a colder day…you can see the wildlife very clear from the inside as well, because of the nicely shaped windows. So all in all… if you’re into a nice bush experience, but you don’t want to compromise on western luxury… this is a house for you. The house itself is secluded without a view on your neighbors and centrally in the park. The distance to Crocodile Bridge Gate at KNP is a mere 20 minutes… And my final remark: the owner and caretaker of the house are more than willing to answer all your questions and to make sure that you’re have a pleasant stay…not only at the house, but throughout your journey as well…

Our fourth time in Marloth Park, and definitely one of the best stays we've had there

We loved our stay! We found the place really well designed and easy to enjoy. There were a few very tiny things we'd suggest, such as having a few more dishtowels and cutlery, but overall it had everything needed for a great holiday. We would probably avoid visiting in December again just because of the sheer volume of people staying in Marloth, but we will definitely visit here again.

My fiancé and I loved the privacy and quiet of this location, especially over the December holidays where Marloth Park was really full of visitors. It was our own little oasis. The setup of the patio and pool area is really spacious and comfortable, and having it raised above the ground level means you can enjoy your braai without some of the more tame park residents coming too close to search for food. Extra large windows throughout the house bring so much light inside and provide great views of the bush surroundings and park's animals. The house is compact but so well designed as to make a stay very enjoyable. The bed was really comfortable and we appreciated the aircon in the room on some of the hotter days. Rihanda, the property manager, was extremely helpful and friendly and we appreciated her quick responses to any of our queries. Would highly recommend staying here.

The sliding door in the lounge had hand prints which we assumed were from the previous guests( which we wiped off ). The shower floor also had hair strands which we also assumed it was from the previous guests. There was a bit of dust on some of the items, specifically the ornaments and floating shelves. The pots are rusted. The front door is hard to open and close, which requires a bit of hard pull and push, which could potentially damage it. The lock hole was also a bit loose missing 1 screw, which could potentially get damaged by a guest. The pool bed mattresses were also a bit dirty. In essence, there were traces of the previous guests, which in my view, shouldn't be the case, the unit must feel as if it was prepared specially for the new guests.

The unit is absolutely beautiful, with all the necessities that are required in a self catering holiday home. It felt like a home away from home. The unit has everything one uses at home. Beautiful finishing touches. Different types of pillows was the highlight for me. The huge windows that makes animal viewing so much better 🥰. The floors were super clean, we were able to walk bare foot inside the house. We were very pleased that there was also a pool towel, which most places does not have. The location is beautiful and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. It exceeded our expectations! 1 Thing that can be done to make the guests stay even more better, to put a leaflet or booklet in the unit, with details of shops and restaurants should the guests need to buy a few things. On our arrival, we realized that we forgot to buy wood for braaing, we drove around the area not knowing were to go and operating hours of the shops, we eventually drove out to Komatipoort.

That there was no UPS incase of loadshedding, when electricity goes OFF all is out, and having animals there, you worry if monkeys will come or something

The property was exactly the same in the pictures.
