Waiting staff wasn't not friendly. Had to wait for check in and check out as no one was available to help. The room we stayed in, was in a extremely noisy passage and we were woken up a couple of times at night during our stay.

The location is perfect. It is close to everything. The rooms were newly redone, although it did still have some dated elements. The balcony was an added bonus!

To be honest no complaints.

The Paternoster Hotel is perfectly situated for short breaks to the West Coast. Easy check in by friendly staff. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here. We chose to have meals out however we did frequent the bar and breakfast was very good served by friendly staff.

There was a drain outside or balcony which was open and a bit smelly. Could not smell it in our room.

Rooms were newly renovated and in excellent condition. Looked very modern Don't be fooled by the appearance of the front of.the hotel. The rooms are fantastic. We are fussy and it more than met our expectations.

The "older Lady" hotel offers very good value for money when visiting Arniston. Security is always highlighted in Arniston and we had no concerns as South Africans in the hotel or town. Car SUV was parked in the parking lot that has camera's and regularly visited by Security Company and Neighbourhood Watch on bicycles- saw it myself . Atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is festive and food is good home style cooking. Staff and Management very helpful and cheerful. They deserve your support when choosing a good value for money and hospitable venue.Not for those looking for fine dining,peace and quiet or expecting to meet Lords and Ladies.

The locks on the room door and bathroom are ill fitting. The bed sheets and pillows are a bit yellow - nothing a bit of extra bleach couldn't sort out.

The hotel is a great old friendly place, and you can spend hours in the Panty Bar talking to visitors and locals alike. Breakfast was served efficiently and promptly by friendly staff, all meals came together and the quality was very good. Good value for money considering the location and breakfast being included.

It would be nice if we could have a bar fridge in our room. We were surprised that their kitchen closed at 16h00 on Sundays .So we had to go for supper elsewhere.

It was a first hotel stay for us. The lounges was comfortable. The Art exhibition is good in the hotel.Aswell as the Sea Shell shop.

The floors in the rooms were dusty/sandy. Only a half used toilet roll fir 2 peopke for 2 days. No suffient soap avaiable.

They only start serving breakfast at 8:30 am, so we had to skip this because of long drive ahead. Though we heard the food is good we did not eat dinner at the hotel, as the dining area is rather basic.
