We liked everything.

We really liked the Peninsula, the view is amazing, the suite was very large and up todate, The location is ideal with a free shuttle service to anywhere within 8 km of the hotel. The food is good with a free welcome buffet and drinks on Monday nights. The staff are very helpful and cheerful and nothing we asked for was too much trouble.

I higher floor would have been better for me.

I was only there for two days work related. Did not get to enjoy the facilities but the stay was pleasant enough and suited me from a location point of view.

The amenities are very old and outdated. Pool area is like a rundown motel. I got the biggest and best suite someone can buy and it looked like a flat with a balcony.

The hotel is an old hotel which could do with a spruce up with a better reception and common areas.

the room booked was bigger than expected :-). The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean, and the location is excellent close to all the best areas in Cape town.

It’s right by the beach. It’s safe. Especially for a family. I really like the kids play area here and how fun it makes the stay also for the kids. Really enjoyed their breakfast. The service was excellent. Very efficient and well thought processes. I’ll definitely come back here again with my family.

The hotel's system crashed and we had to ask reception to open for us each time we needed access to our room. I requested to be accommodated higher up as I was stationed on the ground floor and no effort was made to accommodate me at all.

One significant problem was the malfunctioning power generator. This issue persisted for several days, resulting in complete power outages during load shedding periods. This not only caused inconvenience but also meant that essential services like lifts were non-operational. I felt that the hotel management could have addressed and resolved this problem more promptly and effectively. Additionally, an apology or compensation for the guests affected by this would have been appropriate. Another area of concern was the condition of the rooms. They appear somewhat outdated and would greatly benefit from a renovation. Furthermore, there was a persistent musty odor in the kitchen area, which made the stay less comfortable. This aspect, in particular, detracted from the overall quality of the accommodations.

The hotel's restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It offers a decent variety of excellent dishes, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Additionally, the hotel's location is highly advantageous, surrounded by a multitude of dining options, which adds to the convenience and enjoyment of staying here. One of the standout features of the hotel is its amazing view. This aspect alone significantly enhanced my overall experience. Furthermore, the breakfast offered at the hotel deserves special mention. With a wide range of options available, it catered to different tastes and preferences, making each morning a delightful start to the day. Lastly, the hotel's approach to transportation was notably commendable. Taxis were allowed into the guarded area of the hotel, enabling them to pick up guests directly at the door. This not only added a layer of safety but also a significant convenience, particularly for travellers new to the city.

The bathrooms could really do with an update - they must be over 20 years old. And it would be nice to have pool loungers nearer to the pool area so that parents can relax and watch their kids, at present the pool loungers are in a separate, gated area away from the pool which makes no sense.

The pools are lovely and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views. The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere around the pool area on Saturday afternoon was really good and I enjoyed the DJ. The gaming room was a huge hit with my kids too.

We used room services a couple of nights and they kept forgetting items we ordered.

Good value for money. Nice equipped room cleaned everyday. Staff was polite and happy to help. The tour desk was really helpful and organized a great day with a private driver to see that took us from Table Mountains all the way to Cape of Good Hope. The price wasn't expensive and Manie gave top class service.

The furniture is old, the hotel needs to upgrade, breakfast was nice but exactly the same everyday which i didn't like.

Outdated furniture room 204. Had to wait for 2nd key card.3 adults were staying for 3 nights. Besides I own two units.had to book on booking.com

Some of the lights in the unit kitchen didnt work, dont like the idea to pay R70 extra per night for parking even when you pay a fair amount for accommodation already.

The staff was very friendly. They gave me an upgrade from 2 bed to 3 bed sea facing. We arrived before check-in, and they stored my bsgs while i went out. By the time i got back, my bag was in my room

Some of the staff were a bit standoffish and sometimes they were not at their stations. When we arrived the toilet was leaking. The sauna didn't work either

The pancakes were amazing. Crying right now that I don't have them with me. The beds were so comfy too, I had the best sleep. We were right opposite the beach. It was the most amazing view especially during sunset
