The only thing keeping it from a 5-star review is that you cannot open the windows on the back of the unit without getting the exhaust intake from the restaurants. But we would come back in a heart beat.

The location is perfect. You are steps away from the beach and some fantastic dining, like the Fat Fish. You are 15-min. (uphill) walk to the center of town. We stayed in Unit 1, a 2-bedroom apartment. We had an incredible view of the beach and Beacon Island hotel at sunset. The unit has A/C, a washing machine and full kitchen. It's perfect for the self-catering family. The primary bedroom has a bathtub and shower.

For what we were doing, we felt this hotel was in a great location; it's where all the tour operators are for the boat tours and it's practically on the beach where the boats launch. It was our preferred choice but had to stay elsewhere for a couple of nights as someone beat me to it as I was pulling up! Anyway, room was very comfortable, good bathroom with decent shower. Lots of little shelves put in on wall for guests which we found handy. Room was clean and we slept well and I believe their generator powers the ac as well during load-shedding (in other places, they do not). Free tea/coffee facilities in the lounge/breakfast area (it's bean to cup). Breakfast was a combination of a la carte and buffet continental with freshly baked croissants. The property has a gated carpark which was great for us and nearby there were a few restaurants and bars which we enjoyed. Overall a fantastic stay and exceptional value for money.

TV was in a weird spot but didn't work too well.

Was clean and breakfast was very tasty. Also very close to the beach so useful for an early morning beach walk. The food at Mobi's restaurant was awesome so was good it was across the road.

Property has onsite checkin, excellent security and gated parking. There are views to the water from the main lounge/breakfast area, where they have coffee making facilities available 24hrs. The rooms are clean and functional hotel rooms, with large showers. Beds were okay. It included a good breakfast.

We did not like the fact that it was very difficult to come and go through the main entrance - not stroller friendly also for security purposes there were no exterior lights nor cameras

The dirty glasses and relatively small room.

Nice communal area, the room was quite small and basic but had a decent size, comfy bed, and decent size bathroom. The room was clean, but I got a wine glass from the kitchen, which was greasy and dirty, I'm guessing, from breakfast cooking. Very good WiFi in the room.

It would be nice to have a little less early morning noise from the vendors setting up for the day.

Breakfast was well presented and the staff were courteous and friendly. It is a short stroll to a choice of 7 restaurants and a short walk to the village centre where you find a collection of interesting shops!

Personnel (especially during breakfast; which is a very warm and well executed moment) was really nice, location good as well. Room is nothing special but sizable so nothing to complain on that front either.

A mission to haul heavy luggage to rooms as you can’t access the entrance directy from the parking area. Rooms and staff can be noisy during day time. It is not really on the beach as may be interpreted from the name.
