Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

I absolutely loved the location, the house was as advertised, nothing was different. The bedrooms and the lounge looked so amazing as well as the bedding was good. Everything in the kitchen was functional

South Africa- When I got there, there was water from the dishwasher asked for help but it took long that I had to wipe the water and I didn’t like that, the toilet was also leaking and it wasn’t a good thing for a guest to keep calling because there’s just a lot of water leaking

South AfricaHowever, do take note of the following: 1. The security will likely be the one to welcome you. The accommodation managing lady will likely message you the day before arrival saying you can WhatsApp her. And an hour or two before check-in will then message you asking for your details so she can arrange with the complex security. RECOMMENDATION: Call her the night before you arrive to forward your details. Then call her multiple times the day of your arrival until she sends you the access pin and confirmation that the complex caretaker is aware of your arrival. Don’t rely on her acknowledging your WhatsApp message- it likely won’t get done. 2. In terms of cleaning, I found the cleaner still busy at 14H25. The plus side is she will then redo any concerns you have and bring fresh towels. 3. As Hennie reviewed 07/04/2022- the place does need renovation. The patio door does not lock properly. You need to close both doors simultaneously for it to almost close; however, it still won’t be locked. 4. TV room cushion covers strategically placed to cover their defects. Should preferably be replaced. 5. In terms of TV, Skyworth Android Streaming box with free WIFI is available in the unit. You’ll have to log in with your own relevant accounts. 6. As per previous comments, no DSTV. 7. For check out we simply left the keys in the unit key locker as there were no other instructions.
Overall good accommodation, beautiful sea views from the rooms, and fairly well-equipped unit.

South AfricaHousekeeping must be booked before hand, you need to call them when you need something which was a bit of an inconvenience I would prefer housekeeping on a daily basis for things like towels and sheets. The couches were uncomfortable and the living room is cold there's a lot of wind coming through the doors and no warm blankets to cover yourself just light throws which was not warm enough for kids. The balcony shutters don't close and they make a lot of noise at night because of the wind and we couldn't use the balconies much because of the birds and bird poop and there was a lot of it.
Location was great close to the beach and Ushaka marine which was ideal for the kids. The view was amazing and the place was clean. The host was amazing very helpful and always available to cater to our needs.
