The room isnt worth over R2000. Its not that big and considering the activities to do are quite expensive, the rooms could be more affordable

Great apartments with everything you need. The room was clean, and fresh when we arrived. The location is also great, and definitely a great place to spend a weekend away. The TV has Netflix which is great to relax if you would like to wind down from the day or wake up.

No Television channels, only Netflix etc, but that was seriously the only criticism I have.

Neat and Tidy unit. Host is very helpful, and is available at any time by phone. Very pleasant. Spa treatment was very good and fair value.

The staff at the spa could be more friendly and attentive towards all guests not just the ones that are going to the spa. There was reluctance to assist us with our general queries.

The room was comfortable and quite spacious for a studio apartment. Housekeeping made sure it was spotless for the duration of our stay. The room was also well equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you'd need. There's also river view from the balcony. The food was amazing and the restaurant staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the picnic area and winery as well for activities on the estate. And if you're feeling a little more adventurous Parys town is not too far from the estate for additional activities.

The restaurant refused for us to order food over the phone to come and collect and pay when we collect. It didnt make sense. Whether at the hotel, apartments or residence, we are all locked together onside here, and they should exercise trust. I needed to go there, go order and come back to collect. I call any Restaurant in SA and place an order and go collect and pay while there, worse with them is you have checked in, you are in the estate. You are not calling from outside. I found it very mistrustful and not well throughout. Yet their food was nice.

They stay was nice. Clean room, the. View. The environment is safe and secure, you have everything you need inside there.

The fact that the advertisement was misleading. River view if you lie flat on your stomach on the half a meter "french veranda" that can hardly fit a normal chair. Private splash pool? What a joke! Next time mention that it is a shared public space. No mention was made that there is NO smoking facilities available at the restaurant or ANYWHERE on the premises where we sat and waited for a waiter to at least order a drink and after about 10 minutes decided to drive 28ks to go and eat at another restaurant in Parys. On our way to the restaurant we confronted a little gate and the employees decided it is more fun to watch us climb over the fence than actually assist with opening the gate to the restaurant. Open holes in the walls leading up to the "apartment". The bed was comfortable but the noise from the restaurant area at the bottom until the wee hours of the night made it difficult to sleep. The last straw was the next morning when I wanted to make coffee and found the complimentary milk (included in the fortune that you charge for an overnight stay) was open and half. Right there and then I had enough. I wasn't going to struggle over a fence to go for breakfast and face that embarrassment again so I left. It was apartment 14. Then on the road I decided to phone your management. The lady that very unprofessionally answered the phone said that your company doesn't have managers!!!!! Only after telling her that a rating online will maybe reveal who manages the place did she miraculously remember what a manager is and after shouting and explaining in a language that I don't understand I was put through to the maintenance manager that said she will give feedback on whether they will address the situation....and till today nothing. Pont-de-Val will never see me again. And I will NOT recommend it to anybody.

The staff at the security gate was nice. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean enough.

On arrival they said they do not work with bookings .com anymore. ??? but i had all confirmatioms .. missiom to eventually get our units keys. TV was not working they did not give us wifi code Reception did not answer their phone for over 30 mim and when I walked over the lady was sitting behind the desk an just ignoring the call.. Lovely property but poor service
