From the moment we arrived our hosts were extremely welcoming and informative. Back in the day Barberton was renowned for its gold mines and we felt we had struck gold finding Pumbas lookout. The garden and views over Barberton are spectacular even more so when the sun it setting, to sum up as close to pardice as one can get. Chris and Sharon.

The location was really ideal on our way to Kruger. The hosts were amazingly friendly, communicative, and keen to help us have our best stay. The house is next to the hosts, within a beautiful and relaxing garden, with an outdoor deck space and a small pool. The accommodation was perfectly clean and cozy, with everything we needed and some delicious complimentary cupcakes. We ordered a pizza from the hosts for dinner one night and this was super delicious we loved it. Overall it could not have been a better stay!

There was nothing not to like.

Fritz met us with the keys. We had a very warm welcome from Fritz and Pat. We felt like knowing them for ages. The cabin was clean with fresh muffins awaiting us. It had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Phumba's Lookout

The owners are very nice and accomodating, Pat is also a great cook. We loved the little cabin surrounded by plants, it also has a nice view over the city and mountains.

The hosts were some of the most hospitable ones we had on this holiday. Our common interests definitely were a plus. The place is nicely located at the foot of Barberton, some distance from the city center and it is teeming with nice plants everyone can enjoy. The room is cosy and well-planned and it has the amenities needed for short stays comfortably. Helpful Fritz and Pat. Recommending this place highly.

Unfortunately the pool is going to be rebuild so we couldn't use it but this was no problem for us

Pat and Fritz are the most welcoming, warmhearted hosts, one could wish for. You will feel at home at Pumba's Lookout instantly - the flawlessly cleaned accommodation is thoughtfully furnished, all cozy and well equipped. You literally feel how much love and dedication was put into creating this place. An absolut plus is the stunning view from the terrace and barbecue area. We were really happy to be guests here for a night and can highly recommend staying at Pumba's Lookout!

Not a criticism just an fyi - when you are looking for the property be aware that it is situated in the extension to the road - so the road has two parts to it and we were in the wrong part to start with. You need to continue round to the upper section of the road.

Pat and Fritz were very welcoming including providing delicious homemade chocolate muffins on arrival! Pumba's Lookout felt like a haven of calm and with its elevated location and felt a bit like staying in a very comfortable tree house hideaway. Wonderful views from the little balcony area too where we had a barbecue.

Such a cozy little cabin! It felt like a comfy treehouse in a forest. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We were presented with delicious apple pie on arrival, chocolate on the bedside table and breakfast bars. Lovely view thoug the trees of the sun setting!

In future i would like to ask , if you are aware of lizards and geckos that live within the rooms please inform the guests as i have a big phobia of them and was not informed so i did not have the best sleep.
