Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomNo entertainment (TV) which wasn’t ideal on nights I wanted to stay in. My prime would not show shows in SA so was useless and I don’t think we should have to use our own accounts. Breakfast could be better. Perfectly edible, but not amazing.

South AfricaNot sure what the policy is on the rooms but our rooms were not cleaned for our entire stay. Not sure if we had to request it? Also breakfast is very limited and rationed no sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, only 2 rashers of bacon. Not an English breakfast more like Scottish. WiFi also had issues and it was hard connecting upstairs during the entire stay.
It was our second stay at the venue. Location is great not too far from the popular locations. Beautiful and comfortable home.

RussiaThe main and huge minus is wifi signal. (((( It's good only in living room area and absolutely weak and not stable in the rooms. So you can't use internet in your own room. The second huge minus is TV. There is no TV-channels at all. You have TV-set in the room but without any TV broadcasting. To entertain yourself you can use your own Netflix account, or You Tube, or other applications. Personally I don't have netflix account, so all the evenings were boring without TV and internet. IT IS ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for the price more than 200 Eur per night.
The whole villa is amazing with scenery views, modern facilities and swimming pool. Huge living room has everything you need for cozy evenings. Private rooms are good as well. Nice and clean bathroom. Breakfast is good but repeating day by day with not really many options to choose. Convenient parking area. Very helpful and friendly staff.
