We had a wonderful stay at rainforest ridge. The surroundings and views were stunning, with breathtaking nature all around. Our little cottage was clean and quiet. The outside and pool area of the accommodation are very nice. The shared kitchen area provided everything we needed for cooking. It's still an ongoing project, some small things might require maintenance, but that's what makes it so charming. Our host was fantastic, providing us with helpful tips to explore the surrounding nature. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others.

Few small things were broken. But can be overlooked. All that needed was working very well.

Amazing views. Super friendly host. Very accommodating. But the nature. The hike is a must, especially for nature enthusiasts. Untust nature.

Although there were some tourist brochures available, as far as I could find, no information provided about the resort and its facilities.

We only stayed for one night so it was difficult to develop a full impression of the resort and its facilities. We were upgraded to a guest house which was more than adequate for our needs for our stay. The view from the property was amazing.

What is there to say? The photos don't do the place justice at all. Peace, beauty, quiet and the location is perfect for those wanting to explore Knysna, Plett and Nature's Valley without staying in those overcrowded areas. We absolutely loved every minute, from being greeted by the dogs and Benn to saying goodbye. We've already recommended the place to family and friends and we will absolutely be back. Deserves 10 stars. Willem misses Jojo already.

This place is really cool. The guy who hosts this place is such a nice and friendly soul. The houses are really clean and comfortable. Perfect cheap stay while travelling the garden route. And his ’’babies’’ which are 5 dogs who just loves to cuddle is a plus.

The approach roads are bumpy for a small low-height car. It's passable with care, but would be fine for a 4x4. The shared kitchen area is minimal and sparsely equipped. If you're bringing food you might be best to consider a barbecue option instead of an oven or stove-top meal.

I would strongly recommend this place. Don't let the word "eco" put you off. It's magical and you get a really warm welcome. The views and the peacefulness are priceless. It is a stunning location with cute areas which would suit a romantic couple or parties of friends. Benn was extremely helpful and attentive, but left us to our space at the appropriate times. He has clearly worked hard to make an interesting and funky space with amazing views all around. Seeing the sunrise was delightful and even having WiFi in such a remote spot was a surprise.

It was a little short on some minor supplies such as a dish towel, bin bags, tea and coffee, and shower soap/shampoo.

Rainforest Ridge has a beautiful view and is extremely peaceful. It's a lovely place to watch and listen to birds enjoying the fynbos. We enjoyed sitting on our deck at sunrise. Benn was very helpful and friendly. He has lovely, huge dogs. It is close to many local attractions such as Birds of Eden and Monkeyland, and Nature's Valley.

The property is located in an amazing spot where you get an awesome view on the forest. The cottage was lovely and clean, you get to see the sunrise from your deck while listening to birds singing. It’s an experience you do not want to miss.

The cottage was amazing! Kitchen well fitted. Plenty of beds. Amazing view. Host Ben was very accommodating. He went out of his way to welcome us. We were given rechargeable lights for loadshedding. We'll definitely be back!
