Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work well and we were not able to adjust it.

A good place to stay especially if you are traveling with family. A very spacious apartment, with everything you need to spend a few days. Well located. Good service by South African standards. The staff was very kind to respond to our request for a late check out.

Check in times and check out times - I had requested for a later check out, but was not able to do, but really timings need to be solved. I understand that you have other guests coming in, and cleaning can't be 24hrs a day, but a little bit based on case by case service wouldn't hurt, even closer to the times of check in vs check out planned or required. I sometimes when I have a layover require an early check in, but this time as I came from home in Zim, I arrived after 17:00 hrs, so the check in wasn't an issue, not like I when I come off an early doors flight, and would reach 7am for example.... but for check out, when I leave to go back to work, my flight leaves at 23:00 hrs, so I would leave for flight to the airport at 19:00 hrs (7pm) etc., so even a check out time of 5pm or 6pm would be helpful, or even 2pm.... my suggestion, case by case basis, thank you.

Didn't make the brekkie, sadly, just stupidly forgot, apologies. The location was perfect, and I found out something new, as in regarding the location and how perfect it is, for my main access to Sandton Mall and NMSq.

It's a lovely place to stay however not a traditional hotel. The location can be difficult if you wish to use valet service on your vehicle and the reception is actually upstairs of the road. The rooms are spacious but slightly dated and the use of space could be better - the TV in the bedroom could be wall mounted instead of in a large cupboard that inhibits the walkway.

The location and ability to walk out into Nelson Mandela Square is the best thing about Raphael. The suites are also large with a kitchenette equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher and washing machine provided.

Our suite door wouldn't want to open so we had to sit for an our in another room to get it fixed. No complimentary drinks or something were offered. We thought the swimming pool in our suite would be heated but wasn't. The telephone to call reception did not work, and no instructions as well? The microwave was broken (could see it was fixed with double sided tape) There were a lot of noise at 03:00am in the morning from outside.

The rooms was nice and clean. The door men was very friendly. The other staff as well. The breakfast was very nice. Great location, didn't have to drive anywhere.

A lot of lights, as to be expected so feels like daylight the whole night. Add more bottled water to to rooms, 2 is not enough.

Great location for our trip, had kids with and the suite was a great option for that. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great view of the square.

One night the aircon was kaput. But efficiently and fully repaired the next morning as soon as we reported the issue.

I went with my daughter for a mom and daughter weekend. Very clean, spacious and quiet. Location brilliant for lazy mum who cannot keep up with the young ones shopping energy, very safe for a young lady to wonder around the Nelson Mandela/Sandton Mall. Lots of food places to enjoy and exceptionally accessible. Highly recommended for a family outing, comfortable and gave me the peace of mind I needed for a relaxing gate away

We asked them to arrange a cap and they did , unfortunately we didnt have change so the driver stop us into an Atm when my husbend go inside and working on the ATM 2 guys came and distract him and they steel his bank card later on they took 40000 Rand !! I need the taxi company name ! And beware plz who ever want to rent a cap must have full detail and have enough cash !!!

Location is absolutely amazing and convenient. Breakfast was amazing too. The apartment was good, clean with all amenities and comfortable. I had a great stay and will surely come back again. highly recommend the place.
