Breakfast times were a bit too early for our liking. The eggs were too salty. I would recommend just leaving salt and pepper on the pepper for people to salt to their preference.

We stayed here on our road trip from Pretoria to Cape Town. This is definitely the place to stay in Oudthoorn. There was nothing I didn't like. Leon and Petra are the most beautiful souls. Their love and warmth is what made our stay extra special.

A wonderful place to stay! Leon and his wife are ones of the most hospitable people on Earth! Always ready to help, give a piece of advice about where to go and what to do around the town and the region. We had only one night in the Ravenscliff Manor, but it was really great. The Manor itself is quite impressive, it seems that you stay in a kind of hacienda of 18th century. The pool, which very thoroughly cared of by Leon, is just exactly what you need on a hot summer day. The rooms are clean and very cosy. The breakfast is beyond any expectation, absolutely delicious and just outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to all the attention from the owners. They really made whatever they could for us to enjoy outdshoorn (including our laundry, free of charge). Our room was in an old house with character next to a small garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was great and homemade to our taste.

The hosts are great and very nice, give also good advices as to where to go to eat etc. Definetly good place to stay if you want to check sights around the town. Also breakfast delicious!

Felt at home from the moment I arrived till the moment I departed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Leon gave me some tips and advice on roads and places to stop and see there. Beautiful Sandstone houses, with plenty of space. Close to main road and all amenities. Oom Leon and Tannie Petra are amazing people, and staff are friendly. rooms were clean, and well stocked and the breakfast was amazing!

From our arrival at the establishment, Leon and Petra gave us a welcoming that felt like we had known each other from before. We were treated very well. They make it their mission to welcome people in a way that makes you feel like you are the most important person in the establishment. Going to the dining 🍽 hall for their hearty breakfast, not only are you being served with good food, but also the set up of the table, the craft of the table made of solid wood with embroidery of the South African big 5. The expertise of Petro and Berenice in the kitchen. I have been in a few places of that business in the Province. Yes, they bid you farewell when you check out, but I think they can learn a thing or two from Leon. He was busy with his daily tasks, but he stopped whatever he was busy with to personally come to us and showed us the same friendliness they showed us upon our arrival. I would love to come back again to there if not in this year definitely next year we will. Thank you, Leon, Thank you, Petra, thank you, Berenice, and every one of that establishment. We had a wonderful experience. Above all we had a tranquil weekend, value for our money. We even liked the idea of having a convenient corner room.
