You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South Africa1. Upon arrival, we were greeted with such unfriendliness and animosity. This behavior filtered into the next day where we raised concerns about a terrible leaking, blocked shower (you couldn’t shower for more than 2 mins without flooding the place) and received no help whatsoever. If anything, this issue we raised felt like a huge inconvenience to the manager. 2. The room. It was dark, had a strange smell, lacked amenities (no water or coffees were replenished on our second night) and had limited privacy. 3. We had a blocked/clogged shower throughout our stay. As mentioned in point 1, we noticed this and let the manager know straight away. It was never tended to and we had to deal with flooding every time we showered past 2 mins. 4. Value for money was zero. The price is completely unjustified. We understand the above issues can occur, but when you’re paying the amount this property offers, you expect such things to be far more up to scratch than they were. In our opinion it was a complete waste of money.
That the place was so dark and depressing with a leaking shower and unfriendly staff that we were encouraged to spend as much time exploring franschhoek and out of the bnb as possible.

Nice sized room and bathroom. Having Netflix was a nice option. Nice breakfast and lovely staff … especially the ever smiling gardener (thanks for helping sort my dusty car out). Breakfast was simple and tasty.

South AfricaWas led to believe our room had off street parking, off the main street maybe, but we instructed to park in the side street. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff helpful & attentive. The garden was very dry and there were some dead plants and weeds, whole thing looked like it needed water and some attention. Pool area was inviting, very disappointed to find out only after I had booked that they had no load shedding mitigation measures (quite surprising, given how long we have lived with this Eskom problem and you are catering to international guests). The flat screen TV was a postage stamp! Completely too small for the size room, if you laid in bed you needed binoculars to see it - overall the furnishings and decor are very tastefully done and the room was very comfortable & clean

South AfricaThe door to the bathroom kept coming off it’s rail. The sandblasted glass door is not practical nor private. The bin by the desk was broken. The light outside to get to our car was out and there are some dangerous steps there. I also expected a queen size bed not a double bed. All in all it was not value for money.
