The guesthouse is a fantastic place! Spacious rooms, beautiful vintage style, warm atmosphere and all modern facilities. Incredible views on the cape town bay on the one side and the table mountain at the other side. But the best of all are the hosts, Jonny and Sharon. Always friendly, helpful and with lots of good advice and support. I'll definitely come back here.

We had a fantastic stay at Redbourne Hilldrop Guesthouse, Jonny and Sharon were the friendliest hosts we've met during our stay in SA. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, gave us great tips on what to do in Cape Town. You can tell people like to come back every year because they create a home away from home. The breakfast with a view is great, as is the location (walking distance from Kloof street). Whenever we're back in Cape Town we will definitely stay here again.

Super friendly and caring owners (Jonny & Sharon) Even though I arrived late, they made the effort to welcome me, offer a drink and have a chat. Location is good, facilities extremely clean and come with an excellent breakfast! I would highly recommend this place to all travelers.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The friendly, laid-back atmosphere and the lovely welcome from Sharon and Jonny. The property is also in a nice, quiet residential area.

Nothing, it was a comfortable and restful stay.

Made to order daily hot English breakfast was amazing, well cooked and presented. Location was amazing on the hill but if you don't drive it is a steep uphill walk or just an Uber ride. The view from the breakfast room was amazing and breathtaking. The hosts Jonny and Sharon are extremely friendly and keen to help their guests make the most of their stay in Cape Town, which I much appreciated. There was also an honesty bar on site and very affordable laundry service option should the need arise. Room was spacious as pictured, the bed was very comfy, air conditioning was great for hot summer weather. I can't wait to return!

A really nice hotel, located in a very central area perfect for exploring Cape Town and around. Sharon, Johnny and Jordan were fabulous hosts making the stay a real pleasure. It was lovely to meet them and to be made to feel so welcome. They offered great advice on where to visit and eat out. . The room was large and comfortable with great facilities and breakfast was super, served at a window seat looking out over the Waterfront and the bay. Really special. I would definitely go again

We Had the best stay at Sharon‘s and Johnny‘s guesthouse. They both and their staff and little Chichi did their utmost to welcome and Host us. Everything was perfect! They Are kind, supportive, have the Highest level of hospitality. You feel like home. They supported us with local recommendations, booking, made hyper early and always delicious breakfast and so on. The accomodation is a 10. pittoresque view, super clean, very comfortable, cosy and spacious. The location is top right Next to the Tablemountain and close to all attractions, Restaurants, Bars etc. We Highly recommend to stay at At their place. I loved everything about this place. The beds were incredible. Best beds I've ever slept in. The place is very clean. The house is very beautiful. The view is amazing. Breakfast was delicious. It is a quiet place very close to the center and Waterfront. The hosts, Sharon and Johny are very friendly, very helpful. I'll definitely stay her again next timt I come to Cape Town. Absolutely nothing

Sharon and Johnny are the most lovely hosts you could wish for in Cape Town. The rest of the staff too! We will never forget the little sweet girl!! Sharon and Johhny can tell you a lot about the city and they are happy to help you. The view during breakfast is amazing. We had a great time at redboure hilldrop and it felt like home.

This was our first stay in SA and so thankful for that. The owners make you feel at home right away and Sharon helped us plan. I got food poisoning on the second day and Jonny took us to the hospital in the middle of the night and stayed with us until I got discharged. They feel like family and are the best thing about this stay. Will forever be grateful
