Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaThe water did not drain from the shower. This may be a problem with the plumbing of the building. The generators that kicked in when the power went off were very noisy and the air around the apartment block very polluted! hare to sleep with the noise. no working lamps. there was a broken lamp at bedside table and a broken lamp in the cupboard. No hair dryer! Aldo only one cup. So my husband and I could not drink tea or coffee at the same time. the staff at reception at check in and check out were unfriendly and should really work on their hospitality skills! the li stok was ok but not great. no restaurants or shops one could easily walk to. the onsite restaurant was ok but very basic! Also no sheer privacy curtains, so if you open the curtains everyone can look into the apartment- so no privacy! I see this accomodation gets good reviews from South Africans. but as very well travelled Australians who visit several countries a year, we would not stay here again or recommend it. Menlyn Maine Trilogy apartments where we stayed for the rest of our time in SA after checking out at the regency, have the same serviced apartment concept but is 100 times better , not that much more expensive, friendlier staff and all round just more professional and also better suited for business and diplomatic travelers.
it was spacious and clean with nice decorations and brand new appliances. Had minimal interaction with the host, but he or she was always friendly and gave useful info in correspondence.

South Africawe were happy in general, and these comments are only constructive: the unit itself needs netted curtains for privacy as when the curtains are open you can see in. also the maid (I’m assuming) left wet washing in the washing machine(bedding). also there was only one roll of toilet paper and no extras provided, and there is a leak in the shower head causing it to spray on the roof and the paint has actually peeled off in the spot where the water is hitting the roof(big patch)
we enjoyed the facility to stay in an apartment with appliances like washing machine and tumble dryer and cook top if needed. the staff in general were very friendly and nice.
