There weren’t supplies to clean up after one’s self when using the Braai facilities. There was only one small bin, needed more bin space for waste. There were minimal provisions for loadshedding only a small candle, which was not sufficient.

It was really beautiful and quiet. The owner upgraded our stay which was amazing.

The surrounding area was a little depressing. Unfortunately not something that they have control over. A couple of broken items in the room, such as the heater. The outside light shone through the frosted glass room door into our faces, which made it a little hard to sleep - no curtains to block it. So much love was put into the decor - I'd recommend changing the light bulbs from cool white to warm white as cold lighting really does spoil the atmosphere of a room, which is a huge shame when effort has been put into making the room comfortable and cosy.

Wonderful staff - we felt very welcomed by Belinda and the housekeeping and groundskeeping staff who were very friendly and clearly eager to help. We got upgraded to a larger room because one was available. Clearly a lot of love and effort given to decor and comfort of the rooms.

It would be helpful to maybe have 2 cereal bowls for breakfast and perhaps a pair of scissors or sharp knife. The outside lights shine directly through the door at night, perhaps a little curtain over the glass door? But we enjoyed our stay very much, the honeymoon suite was tasteful and comfortable.

Lovely decor. Quiet location. Belinda sent relevant pin location and road condition details and was very helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool. It was a brief but recommended stay.

The fridge wasn't working and had a horrible smell. Had no hot water as the staff didn't switch on the geyser until we left for our next destination. The road is horrible

The service was poor, the room was dirty we even had spider waps in our drowers. Side lamps had no bulbs, room had no curtains, the shower and bath taps were falling off even the bath tub stopper couldn't keep the water , they have a pool but it's not in a condition, it was dirty. No electricity back up power.

Everything. I left on the day that I arrived due to the accommodation not looking like the photos on the website, there were ants and spiders in the room, there was no electricity after load shedding had occurred and the generator kept cutting out. Then I was asked if they could switch of the geyser in order for there to be less strain on the generator. The generator was right next to the rooms and was very loud and at one point the generator had a minor explosion. The road to the accommodation also has a lot of potholes and would not have been safe to drive on if arriving back to the accommodation when it was dark.

The lady receiving us, did not look happy that we woke her up at 18:30. The property really needs TLC. we stayed in rooms 5 and 6. The 1 Coffee mug was still dirty. the bedding was dirty the bathrooms really need TLC - torn towels & broken doors. in fact we all stayed in 1 room, as my kids was nervous to stay in the dirty room I have way more photos to share ……

It was disappointing compared to all our other stays. Bare minimum in our room. Far from town and no facilities on site to sort out a meal. Roads into the accommodation were very poor. Our last stop over on our holiday and a huge let down. Really was not value for money, in fact it was over priced.

Breakfast was not served as requested and confirmed via booking.com and as advertised on the website. Plumbing is a problem. Bed side tables had no light bulbs and electical cord for the one lamp was unsafe. Felt unsafe due to lack of security. The fact that the room wasn't properly cleaned made me wonder whether the bedding was changed. The water from the toilet leaking and me stepping in it in the room. The hot tap fell of when turned - Battled to get it out of the hot water in the tub. The road is in a terrible state and the garden needs attention. There was a urine smell outside our room.

It is quiet and peaceful and has the potential to be a beautiful venue.
