Location was perfect with an amazing view. The venue was incredible and very welcoming. Bev, was a very attentive and gracious host. We'll definitely be coming back again, it felt like home away from home.

Nothing! Everything was exceptional.

It's a beautiful house with stunning decor and a breathtaking view. It felt like home the minute we entered the living area. Everything was clean, accessible and practically stored. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless and a cosy fireplace on each level to help with the chilly winter nights. The wifi connection is strong and fast. We loved every moment.

The steep entrance/dip by the gate made it a bit of a challenge to enter with a bike rack on the back of the car, I suspect the same would apply for a trailor. It was not something that we could not work around, but we had to unplug it and carry it in manually.

The house had everything we could possibly need, and the bedrooms and floors were surprisingly warm. The view is amazing!!! Using the fire pit during loadshedding showed us the MOST stars that we have seen in a long time. The house is close to the square, and next to a tar road. It is pet friendly, so next time we can bring our doggos with! There is filtered water on tap! The hammock seat on the deck was a favourite! Basic cleaning materials were supplied to us, which meant we did not have to bring them with us. Towels and bedding are nice and crisp and the block out curtains made sleeping in, a bit easier. More than enough lights were supplied for when there is loadshedding, and a kettle to use on the gas stove, plus the wifi kept working! It was just an amazing stay, wish we could stay for longer!

The property was clean, wide open, spacious and the grounds were amazing. We took one night out to introduce our friend who had traveled from Canada to a proper Braii. The built in Braii was perfect. Close to town to enjoy the restaurants there but you probably don't need to go there. This property was perfect! Thanks Bev, Maria et al!

We had a wonderful stay! The beds were super comfy, kitchen very well equipped, the whole house was really clean and the gardens beautifully kept. We loved having a bbq on the deck with the gorgeous mountain views! We highly recommend staying here and would def visit again - thank you for having us!!

an exceptional house, everything was thought of. Bev was always in touch with us. The friendly welcome from Maria was unexpected but really welcome. the views were awesome. We are frequent visitors to Clarens and this home was the best we have encountered. Braai , fire pit etc etc plus plus. will definitely stay again. Only thing wrong was the stay was too short!!

Nothing at all to not have liked. Time spent there just too short., should have booked for longer.

Well equipped kitchen and facilities. Feeling most welcome upon arrival. Spacious living area, with six people together no one felt claustrophobic. Bathrooms perfect with both rooms en-suite, top marks. Exectonal view of the mountains. Pet friendly, my dog loved chasing her ball in the garden having a good run.

Our only "complaint" (which we actually quickly forgot about) was that there are no cupboards in the bedrooms.

Very comfortable home with everything you need. Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the various fireplaces and firepits were great during the colder days.

The fact we had to leave and go back to work.

The house is well equipped and is very spacious,it has a beautiful view and is located close enough to the square if one wants to walk there. ( which we did most of the time)

Nothing could have been better !

That it was dog friendly, and it was clear that the owners of the house are animal lovers too ! I loved the open plan of the house too. There was ample kitchen equipment etc, spices and and and which made it very easy to cook and clean.

It’s not that we didn’t like it, it’s more of a suggestion - the room with the sleeper couch should be considered to turn this into a bedroom with proper beds. With the most beautiful views from upstairs, I don’t foresee anyone using the lounge downstairs

The only negative about the whole stay is that the house is on one of the busier roads. That being said the road isn't that busy (this is Clarens!) and the large garden and trees do an excellent job of masking this. Wouldn't stop me from coming back or recommending the property.

Fantastic house with a large garden. Amazing view of the mountains on the one side and tree canopy on the other. Bev was a phenomenal host who made sure we had everything we needed. There was even a dog bowl with water for a puppy when we walked in. Easy/short walk to both the town and trails.
