Absolutely stunning location right on the marina. Lovely 4 bedroom apartment that has everything you need. Walking distance from brewery and gin distillery, as well as putt-putt and kayak and paddle boat hire. Mari was a fantastic host and very accommodating. We are excited for our next stay at Riverview Retreat.

There is no pool access. Pools are only available if you book with Port Owen Marina Resort. That being said, the jetty is sufficient for adults for pure relaxation and the kids could play around at low tide.

The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the three bathrooms and outside seating. Well equipped kitchen...couldn't ask for better.

The description of the property says it has 3 bathrooms, but it does NOT. Please correct this. It has 2 bathrooms as described above, one ensuite and one separate bathroom that effectively the occupants of the other 3 bedrooms must share. These are on the first floor. Then there is a guest toilet on the ground floor. Also we were 5 (mature) adults (3 siblings and 2 partners) and were given one set of keys and 1 remote to access the property, so if any of the party left with the remote to go for a walk, to the shops, the rest of the party could not leave. It would have been a nice touch to have a booklet of instructions on how things like Alexis, dishwasher and washing machine worked along with a bit of info of the area and recommendations of things to do.

The location was excellent. 4 lovely bedrooms. A very comfortable open plan lounge, dining room and a kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, small bar fridge and a fridge/freezer combo. All cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Outside braai, magnificent views. 2 large balconies. One bedroom ensuite with (small) shower, double basin and bath, another bathroom with (small) shower, basin and toilet. Downstairs guest toilet. You can get access to more parking bays if you ask.

Such a beautiful and calming view, when I sat on a porch I just stared for 30 minutes enjoying the view and not talked. It's so peaceful and relaxing we loved every bit of our stay and even extended out booking for extra night. We will be definitely staying over there again, we really enjoyed the accommodation, beds are super comfy, we all had the best sleep that we had in a while.

It was winter and the house was cold with no heating facilities; no mirror in 2nd bedroom; no hairdryer; no basic toiletries such as soap or shower gel.
