The room and facilities was a bit dated. I also did not have the option to select bath or shower and I do prefer to shower.

The view was amazing, the location very good and friendliness of the staff I really appreciated. The food was very good and well prepared.

The restrictions imposed on evening meal times. I understand the need for this in view of the very small number of residents but it did impinge on the freedom and enjoyment of those few.

They put us in a different room that we didn't book because the original room we had booked was not in order. The aircon and television was faulty. And without informing us when we arrived they moved us. The other unit was ok. Would have been nice if they had told us beforehand and not when I questioned them about the booking.

The staff was very friendly The pool was clean and a nice size. Lovely views too. Rooms also very clean.

BOOKING.COM CANCELLED MY BOOKING WHEN THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD CONTACT THE PROPERTY DIRECTLY WHAT IF HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED WHEN I GOT THERE? . BUILDING IS OLD NEEDS A PAINT INSIDE FLATS, DAMP ON WALLS, LIGHTS NOT WORKING. SERVICE IS SLOW AT BAR.

unfortunately the communal areas within the hotel were grubby. although the apartment had just been cleaned the hallway bathroom had a bad smell which filled the entire apartment despite keeping the door closed. unfortunately the password to the wifi didn't work and because we were just spending 1 night it was not a big deal, but they will need to look into that should occupants spend longer there.

the apartment was nice and spacious. Since i was travelling with my Mother it was great that we each had a bathroom. And the kitchen meant we had the freedom to cater for our own needs. The staff were all welcoming and friendly.

With checking the lady at reception show us where our apartment is, she didn't even switch on the lights or took us through the apartments and also no one to help us with our bags or even told us there were a trolley to use. Not sure if this was because we were a few minutes late but I did arrange that we gonna be a bit late. The apartment was clean but had a demp smell.

The view was so nice, river view with swimming pool. It was so relaxing.

the place is not good for self catering. no stove, no microwave, no basin. the only basin was in the bathroom. so even if you have your own groceries you can’t even cook it. they only had glasses and mugs. no bowls or plates

Open plan bathroom.

The beds were very comfortable,. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The setting if you are in the front is lovely. Neil went out of his way to help.
