Water temp in the shower could be set a bit warmer. While I can sleep on the floor and not be bothered, my wife did find the bed hard.

We had a really good, relaxing time here. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were great and made it feel like a home away from home. Everything we needed was provided.

The road, which is not long, is a bit rough. Don't go in a low car.

The setting was stunning. All windows looked out on beautiful scenery. Accommodation was comfortable and had everything one needed. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Close enough to Robertson for exploring the various wine farms.

That we had to leave to get back to our everyday normality 😁

Peace and tranquility, nothing but bush, MTB and trail running trails with the sound of birds. Tertia and Jacques, the hosts to this glorious getaway, were incredible, even offered to loan us bikes as we left ours at home, but we were keen to only do a trail run this time. We will definitely bring our MTB bikes next time and go explore a little more. A stones throw away from Rooiberg Deli, where we had incredible meals, the location is so far from the hustle and bustle of the normal everyday life, but yet so close to get to, which is a win for us.

Maybe not fully private, if you are looking for a secluded getaway, with other bikers and a shop on the same premises but was no problem for us.

We had a awesome time. Mountainbiking, hiking, braai and peace and quiet. Place is fully equipped you really need nothing more. Perfect hosts. Definitely one of our favorite places.

Our 6 foot son couldn't fit on the 2nd room beds but we made a plan so he was quite happy.

Tertia was a friendly and gracious host, making sure we were comfortable with our stay. Jacques assisted my son with his flat tyre and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything we needed for self catering was there and well thought out. The bird life was amazing with more to explore on the mountain side by walking and mtb tracks.

The place was very clean and the kitchen and the unit in general was well equipped. The extraordinary view through the huge stack doors onto the verandah, welcomed the calming sounds of nature into the unit. We enjoyed the stay so much that we extended it another night. Nearby wine lands and restaurants can be visited or just enjoy a mtb route or a hike in the mountain. Our host, Tertia, was welcoming and very helpful. We plan to be back soon.

The road is a bit rocky, but only about 700m maybe and we were aware of this from previous reviews.

We loved the beautiful views and peace and quiet. Everything was very clean and fresh and I appreciated the bottled water and tea, coffee, sugar, milk and rusks. Makes one feel welcome. The little splash pool was awesome to just sit and enjoy the view while you cool down. The host was also very friendly and fast with communicating.

It is solar powered, which is exactly what is needed these days given climate change. However, then you need to be prepared for the hot water not lasting as long in the shower. Rather shower at the end of a hot day.

The view is beautiful. The locality is great - many wine farms in close distance and amenities (Worcester and Robertson close by). Wildlife including invertebrates and birds - very good. The space and isolation provide the relaxation needed. Hosts are very friendly.

The location was perfect! Quiet and extremely relaxing. Great place to test ones Mtb skills and technical abilities as well as a great place to hike. Accommodation was very neat and cosy, with all and more required.
