The fountain in the pool was not working, the tripping of electricity and the road to the house after passing Rock Cottage board it need some real fixing, it is very bad whether you using big or small car its bad. But beside that we enjoyed!

The view from that house is amazing. if you are real fan for Nature then that's the place to be.

Roads are bad up to the property, suggest only going down in a 4x4 No Aircon, only fans which have one slow speed Six sleeper if for two couples and 2 children as loft area has no toilet facilities and cupboards for packing out your clothes

Beautiful bush getaway, with pizza, braai and boma facilities with a refreshing splash pool. Need to drive 20min to the main resort facilities (roads are tarred, except from house to resort entrance gate)

No AC and no back up power, the directions in the booking link did not work and we had a long gravel riad to the cottage. The road was extremely poor. After a week I had to ask for the breakage deposit back .....I'm sure this should happen within a couple of days automatically.

The road into the private farms is a gravel road which has many humps, I'd definitely recommend using a 4x4 and not a hatch or even a sedan but the reserve itself is tarred so that also helped. That there isn't a standalone bathroom for the loft bedroom which was inconvenient in the night time.

The privacy, the quality of the bedding, the nespresso machine, it was clean and well prepared, the ice machine, the beds, the fact that all cleaning materials we needed was provided. The fireplace.

1st it was far from the main entrance and poor network and no phone in the house incase of emergencies no one would even hear you *The deposit i have been requesting it ever since we got back they ignoring me *The activities i was not given full details on how they go about since when you arrive no one is there to even welcome you when we got there we got a different story of the activities times the money paid gone they did not even make an exception since the fault was on their side i do not recommend them when paying your money communication is good but when it's time to deliver they have stories

The fact that the cottage was far from everything. That wasn't communicated so we were literally stuck in the cottage because we had means of transport. The microwave wasn't working.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable. There are things that could be improved though because the doors were a bit of a struggle to use. And the basins are super small it was a struggle to wash my face.

The air conditioning of the cottage is a must as the current way of doing it with a little mobile unit is not working.

The property was perfectly situated in the Mabalingwe area. It is really peaceful and can enjoy quality family time.

The road to the lodge wasn't suitable for our cars, we did ask if we need a 4x4, but was told a normal sedan will be okay however we struggled to drive our normal sedan cars.

There are only minor things that can improve a bit such as the bathrooms - some leakages and the occasional water pressure every now and then. But the shower was amazing!

This place is amazing and the atmosphere and views are truly magnificent. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts thought of unique things like an ice maker, extra space for pantry items, and a fireplace. We did struggle with getting the firewood going as it was wet due to the recent rains, but the hosts quickly assisted us with a gas blowtorch which we could borrow for the weekend and everything worked out fine! We made a potjie in the boma on the Saturday, and used the weber to braai. The place is located away from the main road and noisy communal areas of Mabalingwe so it was really a great location. Will book again! Just take into account that a high clearance vehicle is needed for the dirt road leading up to the cottage.

The bathrooms could use an upgrade. Not fancy at all Shower head was too close to the wall and the head is not nicely adjustable. Seems broken The decking outside including pool area needs some TLC Please provide a foldable mini laundry hanger for wet clothes after swimming or if guests happen to wash certain items. No hanging space for wet clothes. Outside lighting can be improved. Difficult to braai at night. Employees of the property don't really know much about this lodge, so when you're lost it's hard for them to help you. They want a house number.

We were not advised that it was very far from the main resort. GPS location was very difficult to use as you take small roads. We got lost a lot. Directions would work much better. The property is in an extremely hot area and our stay was uncomfortable due to the fact that it does not have aircon. The loft room gets extremely hot as there are no curtains in front of the window. The heat forces you to get up at 6am.

Beautiful house in the bush. Very secluded. Really enjoyed the pool. Good quality linen and kitchen implements and crockery. I e maker was a bonus!
