The egg station at breakfast is very slow, too many lights switches. No adaptors in rooms

The fact that I called reception 5 times trying to order food but no answer. That was annoying me. The other issue is the fact that no one tells you to go validate your parking ticket if you need to go out. When I checked in, I asked reception if I pay for the ticket, and she advised that she would validate it when I checked out. I then advised her, but I need to leave soon to fetch my wife. She didn't say anything about I need to validate it. I drive up to the gate around 10pm, and it doesn't allow me to leave. I had to them reverse down that steep drive way, come to find a gaurd, and ask him for help. He then said the ticket needs to be validated. I missed the awards function I was going to because of this stupid issue with the ticket. Going forward I feel they should validate your ticket the same time u check in so you got freedom to go and come as you please.

The room was amazing. The bed is gorgeous,the lounge area is lovely. Balcony is nice and private. The bathroom is to die for. It was a really gorgeous room and the stay was perfect.

The hotel provides one card, which you need to get into the floor and to keep the lights on, that was very inconvenient because I had to leave my wife in the dark when I needed to go out.

The detergents they use to clean the rooms are too strong and do not smell good. In short the room didn't smell fresh especially because there's no sunlight and fresh air other than the A/C. Secondly the chairs are not comfortable for someone needing to sit at the table and do work.

We did not have any breakfast at the hotel although,we had paid for breakfast with the accommodation.Due to being busy and other committments we did not have breakfast at the hotel.I had requested Breakfast Room Service but,was told that the hotel does NOT do room service for breakfast so we just left it as that.

There were a few issues that could help. The bath being a large luxurious bath had no handles to help you get in or out. The room has limited 2. prong plugs for cell phone chargers. If you don't bring your own adapter you stuck.

The staff are super friendly and eager to help. The rooms, ours was the deluxe suite, was very spacious and luxurious. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Did have to ask for butter on the first morning as only margarine was out on the tables. Location is great as one can get to Gateway shopping Centre by foot with a 3 minute walk. The balcony was a real treat and we spent time there having sundowner and eating the most amazing curry takeout from Canecutters, which is over the road at the Caltex garage.

I woke up abit late and ended up leaving the room at 10:30 which is only 30 mins after their 10am checkout but the security was already banging at my door, forcing me to leave, I don’t think that’s good hospitality.

Ladies at reception are very slow and don’t communicate internally. Also I had to request a safe for my room - the previous one was removed 🤦🏾

I may have seen a cockroach or two, while we have them in our homes too, but hotel can look into fumigation every now and again, or pest control, whatever it is that needs doing. I found it funny actually, not really upset by it.

The room was spotless, and quite spacious. I loved it.
