Small towels. No coffee mugs, only small teacups. Not enough milk in room. Hard beds. Not disabled accessible.

Surroundings were beautiful. Old farmhouse feel. Large room. Good breakfast. Willing staff. Lovely porch area for relaxing.

The resort needs A LOT of maintenance. Many things are broken or shabby looking. In the unit, pot lids were broken, items were missing, towels were a little threadbare, a leaking tap resorted in water all over the kitchen counter and floor etc.

Overall, it's a lovely place. The setting is great (in the country) and the units are spacious and comfortable.

The kitchenette equipment incomplete ..electric kettle not working. Had to borrow from neighbours. Fridge leaking. Not enough cutlery and crockery for 4 adults. The double bunk creaky and appears unstable. Electric blankets not working.

The scenery and tranquility of resort. The sleeping and toilet/bathroom facilities were comfortable.

I would not know as they cancelled my booking an hour before I had to check in. Something I would NOT have known if I did not phone ahead to order some supper. They had no remorse or sympathy for women that was effectively stranded because they were ‘fully booked’ that night even though we had a confirmed and PAID for booking through booking.com. This was around 5:30pm and we were in an unknown town with no where to go as all the other establishments were fully booked. Worst service ever.

I couldn't sleep at Roydon, When I've arrived there, the was no receptionist and I called several times the phone wasn't picked up, so I had to go back in town and look for another available BnB, mind you the distance is approx 1.7km away.

The place is pitch black, you cannot even see your hand when it's Loadshedding and the Owner has NO alternative pathway lighting from a very far parking to the chalets. They said we must use our cellphone torch. Roydon is exactly like a horror movie, at night we were so scared. We had to walk a distance from the parking to our chalet, in pitch black darkness, with tall forest like Gumtrees all over. There was noone booked there during our short stay, even on the 23/12 and the place looks deserted yet the guy at Receptionsaid they're fully booked.. We only slept one night on arrival 22/12 but had to find alternative and paid accommodation elsewhere in Queenstown and had to forfeit our fully paid booking.

I like the wildlife that's at the Nature Reserve.

Big SACP crowd (100+) when I got there. Taxi's everywhere. Weekend conference. Good business I'm sure. Well done. Had to leave and return. Road to get there is horrible. Battled to get WiFi to work. Someone was very helpful.....

Not much. The whole of Queenstown was a disappointment.

The natural feel, the sound of the wind blowing through the tall trees signaling the arrival of the spring season and the tiny monkey troops pooing on my vehicle. I love the Horeses maybe next time we will book a ride.

Roydon Reserve is lacking good maintenance. From the door lock in our room, faulty toilet , no kettle and a number of other things where I had to call on the receptionist to sort out. There was only ONE channel available on the TV , i did ask at reception if it could be changed but was informed that would affect everyone else's viewing at the resort. The pub and restaurant were closed re Covid and we were told the fire place in the lounge was just for show, so basically we had an early night.

The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly.
