Beautiful Stay. Everything that you need for a quick break away for the hustle and bustle. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Bonus for us; that Ruebys's Apartment 202 is pet friendly and our fur baby loved every moment and was even catered for (toy box and blankets were provided).

Everything was absolutely perfect. The owner really went out of their way to understand what would make the life of a holiday maker easier. We will definitely be back. It's truly home away from home. We've recommended your place to many in just a few days of being there. The owner kept in touch via whatsapp as well.

South AfricaIt is difficult to find any fault here. Starting with a warm Rueby's welcome from Adri at very short notice, we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable few nights in this beautiful, spacious and very tastefully appointed apartment. We can't wait to go back again!

South AfricaThe inverter battery doesn't last long even though you switched off everything except the lights in one room.
I have been in all of them (house, both apartments), and they all have everything you need and more like spices for your cooking, olive oil, and airfrier. They have a gas stove, which is a good choice because you don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and you're covered during loadshedding. Stable wifi available, electric blankets, comfortable beds, fireplace with wood. Adri, the host is excellent aswell as the staff. They even provide umbrellas in case it rains, who does that....It is like our second home whenever we are in Dullstroom it is our first choice.

South AfricaSuperb safe location, close by the restaurants and other attractions - but nestled enough for a quiet retreat. There is a railway line close by, but we did not find it disruptive but rather that it added to the charm of Dullstroom. A cozy fireplace to keep away the wintery chill.

We loved the place. First and foremost the place is up to date and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and clean as was the whole apartment. The kitchenette was very well equipped with thoughtful touches of welcoming rusks, tea, coffee and milk. The lounge area is spacious amd comfortable with a big satellite tv. I will 100% recommend this place. The person that guided us there and helped us were very polite and friendly. Loved this place

We loved the space of the unit, the fireplace was excellent and kept us warm during the chilly evenings, the bed was comfortable and had heater blankets, there was an emergency light for loadshedding, free WiFi and smart TV kept us entertained, spacious en-suite bathroom with all amenities provided, and Adri was exceptional in providing us all the information that we needed and he had the fireplace going and the electric blankets heated up on our arrival!

South AfricaThe mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable, and in fact felt like it was a water-mattress even though it was not. It felt like you would roll off from the bed towards the side since it was a bit finished (I think?), and when my wife moved around in her sleep it would also make me move with her. I have however slept on worse beds than this before, so it should not be seen as a major complaint.
We did not opt for breakfast since we were in a self catering unit. We also only slept over one night on our way to Hazyview, so we planned ahead that we would have a brunch in Pelgrimsrest.

South AfricaA Train came through town.... This was actually funny.... we don't hear trains where we live. Nothing that one can do about this..... But this formed part of our fun holiday we had.
The hospitality was great, thanks. Oh the bed we slept in was cozy and most comfortable!!! The huge shower was a treat! Thanks Lynnette for going the extra mile. WiFi went off and minutes after the notification came through informing us of the problem. Thanks!!! Keep up this wonderful hospitality!!!

AustraliaThe internet did not always work, although I believe the problem was with the service provider, rather than our host. We were on the first floor, so if you don't do well on stairs, ask for a ground floor apartment.
A very spacious apartment with an enormous comfy bed. Very well appointed for self-catering. Nothing stingy about the supply of heating/braai wood, cooking gear and condiments etc. In a quiet part of town. Lots of hot water in a modern bathroom.

South AfricaWe had to get used to the sound the roof made in the mornings as it is a metal / zinc roof which contracted and expanded after the cool evenings and warm mornings
Communication before our arrival was friendly clear and concise. We received a personal greeting from the co-host who also spoiled us with a small gift to celebrate our anniversary. We had a guided tour of the apartment which was helpful. Spoken and written Instructions were given on how to operate different areas of the apartment and everything was super clear. The place looked exactly like the photos, and in some cases even better! Kitchen was more than well equipped. We were not left wanting anything. Loved that firewood was provided for the fire place and the barbecue area. Lights remained on during loadshedding which was a huge plus. The apartment also comes with a gas stove and kettle which we could use during loadshedding which was super convenient. Bedroom was massive with a comfortable King sized bed and great pillows. The bathroom was big and well set up with a massive shower and a clean toilet. The apartment was adequately stocked and we loved the attention to detail. It was a bonus that the co-host provided us with great suggestions of places to eat and other experiences. Friendliest Co host we've ever had and best apartment we've stayed in across all of our travels.
