the riverside location was stunning and the placement of the various tents preserved all privacy and prevented peeking in. The resort itself has plenty of wildlife that can be observed during evening game drives (morning game-drive takes the guest to nearby excellence reserve, with possibility to observe big5). Both breakfast, lunch and dinner offered a varied and nice selection and the service and dining area was well cared for.The morning and evening game drives were handled to perfection by well-versed guides who reassured visitors and whose extensive knowledge of the park's fauna and flora helped make the game drives successful and beautiful experiences.

This place is truly amazing! Beautiful and peaceful. Crocs and hippos at the river, kudu's on the grass at night. The game drives were amazing and the rangers can spot the tiniest animals from far away and are walking encyclopedias. Super friendly staff, clean tents with all the amenities you can think of!

It was our second time at Rukiya and, once again, we had an amazing experience. The tents are super comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff is outstanding, they really make you feel at home. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and they set us a beautiful outdoor table for dinner. That was so nice of them. We're looking forward to staying at Rukiya again.

Honestly this place is one of its kind,it’s all good except one thing,I think you can improve the bed,it looked like two single beds combined so the middle has this wood that is uncomfortable and could injure someone’s back.

We loved and enjoyed the breakfast,the dinning area is spectacular and the view is amazing. The staff is readily available and assisted us with friendly faces n great attitude. I was also surprised that there were no mosquitoes

Perfect boutique private reserve, only limited amount of rooms so it feels personal. Beautiful surroundings and game watching from the pool, however feels save the whole time. Their game drive was the best one we did throughout our whole trip in Kruger. Engaging and learning a lot about game tracking from Conrad. Also it feels more personal as no other cars are allowed in the private reserve where they take you.

We loved our stay at rukiya camp! All of the staff was so genuinely friendly and helpful and our guides (Dris and Conright) were the absolute best safari guides we met during our SA trip! their knowledge was unbelievable and they explained everything to us, it was just perfect! As the reserve the camp is on does not have the big 5 itself, you drive to a different reserve for the morning drive, which was a bit „annoying“ but is absolutely worth it!

Our stay at the Rukiya safari camp was the highlight of our trip to South Africa. The camp is an awesome place to stay at, and the personnel and guides are exceptionally friendly. We booked the full-day game drive in Kruger national park, and we had a wonderful time there with our excellent field guide.

Once you booked through booking you get an e mail ( it looks automated) from the lodge telling you to pay a certain amount by a certain date. Getting an e mail like this is frustrating as payment is through booking and now one has to check with the lodge if its all in order. In this case it was.

Food is good. Great place to relax. Some animals come down to the lawn/ river which is great to see from your tent. Game drives are offered. Guides made a lot of effort getting one to see as much game as possible on the morning drive.

The property was very clean. The area is airy and very silent. At night you only hear the river sound and animal noises which is very nice. The place is a good place to rest and connect with nature. The stuff they are very nice people, Aneen, Lilly, Herold, Conrite and everyone will always ensure you have a lovel time at the camp. The game drives are super lovely, Concrad made sure we see the lion and lots of animals. Enjoyed my stay and looking forward to another stay sometime next year.

This is a once in a life time experience, for those who want to experience everything that camping gives in South Africa, but with all of the luxuries of a hotel. Its quiet, the views on the river are amazing and most of all the staff are friendly, knowledgable and so accommodating.

EVERYTHING was exceptional, from the drive into camp, the warm welcome, the camp facilities, the Food and friendly staff. The Tent was absolutely great with all you need, the game drives were amazing and the Game Rangers were FANTASTIC. Definately recommend this and we will most certainly return.
