BATHONG WOW,I LOVED everything ❤️ about this place. It is right by the river banks, The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner has such a great sense of humor 👏 ❤️ 😄. The breakfast was great 👌, he even went to get beef sausages for non pork eaters. We were there to celebrate ones birthday. He gifted us MAHALA champaign.

Location was ideal, between lush trees and mountains and the waterstream just a few steps from my unit, you can even hear the water, it sounds like a foutain.

The owner, Shawn, was very friendly and when we arrived he upgraded our room. The room was gorgeous, facing the little river in front. The cleanliness and the facilities exceeded our expectations and the room was so romantic, with a big window facing the forest, so it seemed like we were sleeping outside. The quality of the premises and the walks around made our stay so luxurious for very little money. The breakfast was made with love and care and was delicious. The overall experience was just perfect! We will come back soon

On my last night, I heard rats or something scurrying in the roof, and I found a cockroach in the bathroom, but that's to be expected when the windows are open.

The grounds were stunning, with a river running through it and a private waterfall a short walk away. The pool and nature walks are beautiful. The staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was amazing! They offered me a gluten-free breakfast with several options, the pancakes were the best I ever had! The owner and his family are the most friendly and generous people. After a rough start in South Africa, they made us feel safe and welcome. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to every traveller.

The only problem was that WIFI did not work in my room which was a challenge for business. It did work outside my room. But this could be a once off due to a recent storm.

I loved the gem of a property. I will easily go back again. Beautiful, scenic, super clean, very organised. Cabins are well decked out with everything you need. Great staff. Great braai areas, walks, private waterfall and a swimming pool and Bomo. Also only 3 km from Sabie. You truly could not wish for more.

This is a gem: lush vegetation all around, the babble of the river just outside our chalet, comfy bed, well set-up kitchen, great breakfast, and the friendliest owners. We only spent one night there, but have promised ourselves to be back for a longer stay!

This accommodation is in very calm place a bit outside of Sabie. For us it was perfect location, since we arrived from Jo'Burg and next day explored Panorama route. Room is spacious and has everything for longer stays. We had lovely breakfast the next morning. Homemade Banana bread was super delicious. Friendly and caring owners add to this place.

Nothing really.

Everything! The bed was super comfortable, the sheets. The setup in the cottage. Water was always hot. The kitchen utensils are all there and working, all at your convenience. It really felt like home.

The silt on the rocks and in the water. It makes walking on the rocks, especially around the Waterfall very slippery and dangerous.

The natural surroundings (River, Trees, Grass, Forest) fresh breeze and sound of the water running down the river. Friendly staff and lovely dogs.
