The wires buy the river were broken and rusted and a bite. Dangeres for kids if they had to lsnd on it but otherwise. Great thanks.

We stayed for 5 nights and one was new years eve. There was a church service right next to our tent in the restaurant which went from 11pm to 2am. Would have like to be informed in advance of this it was very loud and we couldn't sleep. We did understand it was new years eve but still would have liked to be informed. Although the boards at the property promote and strictly forbid loud noise and music it is not adhered to or enforced. The luxury tent that we booked was covered in shade cloth around it, while it protects from the sun. It offers no protection from rain at all and the little kitchenette was always wet as it rained everyday and we couldn't sit in the stoep as we would get soaked because of the rain. They need to change this. In the 5 nights we stayed they did not change our beddings which was a schlep and also the bathroom mat was not good. Nor did they clean or offer services.

I loved the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Nothing WE LOVED EVERYTHING !!!

This place is AMAZING !!! We will definately be back 😉 So awesome that they are doggy friendly too !! All of us incl the doggies HAD THE BEST FAMILY VACATION EVER !!! Amblution blocks are SUPER CLEAN !! We love camping but the tent and blow up matressess is not for us anymore ... this gives you the FULL CAMPING EXPERIENCE without all the hassles !!! With the built in tent and comfy beds !!! We stayed 9 days and there where SO MUCH to do in the area we could have easily stayed another 9 days !!! The warm pool with the view of trees and mountains were just breathtaking!! All the staff are AMAZING and made us feel right at home !!! We've made some awesome friends FOR LIFE !! If I can sum it up in just one word WOW !!!!!!

We really didn't have a good stay there since the moment we arrived until we left...lights wasn't working,door lock broken they come and fix but fix like not fixed even the drain was blocked making it impossible for us to use the kitchen and bathroom it was really a nightmare we arrived back at our place getting the door open,due to the lock not working,you can only lock from the outside... even the bedding of this place was dirty joh...I cant not coming back to this place ever again.....will not recommend this place. ..Very disappointed 😞

The fact that there is a huge board stating NO DRINKING AND NO LOAD MUSIC. DISPUTE THE OWNER DRIVING PAST HOW MANY TIMES BUT THEY DONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. We hardly slept because of people around us partying until who knows what time in the morning hours. Secondly the toilets hardly work. There is no hot water when you phone who ever on duty they dont pitch. I wont be going back there.

The property is breathtaking, and the facilities high class. Beautiful lawns, riverfront and atmosphere was amazing. The owner and office staff was so helpful, kind and they do make sure your needs have been catered for. What a pleasure. Will definitely stay there again.

It was middle of winter our tent had a hige gap above the door and more gaps/openings on sides where beds were. No heater..it was freezing..long hours of loadshedding. Also didnt put me in the tented area I requested when booking .. away on open lawns. There was another noisy group and only when I complained to manager did they ask them to calm down late on the Sunday night

The fact that I had to pay more because of a mixup between booking.com an the host. Another thing the neighbours next to us kept on playing loud music and stole our firewood when we were sleeping. That’s unacceptable.

The fact that our stay was short

The atmosphere, the area the camp itself its beautiful, clean and peaceful. Our host was amazing from the 1st day we arrived till departure she made sure that we had everything and had nothing to complain with. Regular checks to see if we are still okay. She went out of her way to make us happy and we were.

No allocated camping site, no braai facilities, was charged more for the stay upon arrival. Warm water was a big problem, shower flooding after every use.

Booking through Bookings.com. Sabie River Camp was super amazing.

Everything was amazing except booking through Bookings.com. I placed a booking 5 months ago for 6 adults and Bookings.com only placed an order for 4 adults. This money was also paid 5 months ago. This also happened to 2 other families that booked through Bookings.com. I think it's only fair that Bookings.com pay the difference as this is their mistake. I will never use Bookings.com again.

There's a warm swimming pool with no warm water!!!! We almost had no power with loadshedding although they have a generator. My meat got rotten in the freezer. Highly disappointed in our stay.

I liked the river view.

The tents leak. The owners are nowhere to be found checking up on you. The tents are worn and a lot of maintenance is needed. Deck furniture is broken and not looked after.

The location is perfect next to the river.
