As it's rather close to Reception and the main road, traffic is always audible but not disruptive of the peace and quiet. WiFi or an inverter would be a nice bonus, but other than that everything was great.

Our fav was the spacious stoep with that view! Even though you enter at ground-level, the Villa is located on the second floor and looks out over some of hole 10, 13 & 18's fairways, all their water features and palm trees. You can spot the ocean way to the East while outside on the veranda. The villa has everything you'll need for a comfortable self-catering stay, built in braai as well as a washer and dryer. Separate bedroom and open-plan living room. Has DSTV with most of channels. In our opinion we wouldn't recommend it for a family with 2 young/teenage children as the space might be a bit tight ~ but it's perfect for a couple and we loved it!

I wish they had some indoor rooms for activities to keep kids busy. Because when it rains nothing you can do. Even an indoor pool feature would be great. So families still get to enjoy the weekend and it doesn't get ruined by the rain.

Loadshedding is expected in South Africa these days so remember to carry a torch with you, but unfortunately we arrived a day before water was also turned off and although owners don't have any control over this we were refunded without question for our unused stay so we could reluctantly move.

The photos of this accommodation don't do the property justice, it is much nicer in the flesh. The whole complex is 1st class with a brilliant golf course, clubhouse and facilities.

This particular villa is closer to the main entrance and also the main road. It's further away from the beach, the hotel and hotel facilities when compared to the other villas. However, this is not a deal breaker. The stay was still extremely pleasant and I would definately book it again. Beware that load shedding is common in the area and there are no generators in the villas- only at the hotel. There is also ongoing minor maintenance around the villa.

The view of the golf course and clubhouse from the private balcony is amazing. The villa is private and clean. It's well equipped. The cleaner was lovely. Parking is right outside the villa. For San Lameer itself, you'll never need to leave the estate. There's a Superette, multiple dining choices, activities, direct access to private beaches and an on-site Spa with a jacuzzi, indoor pool, sauna and more.

It was difficult to find the villa as there was no number on it due to construction work taking place which was only communicated at the last minute when it was too late to cancel without a penalty. The allocated parking had another vehicle in it and I had to use someone else's parking as it wasn't busy. The only thing not provided in the villa is a two pin adapter to charge my phone, but luckily it was a business trip so I used my laptop to charge my phone.

The villa is in a good location and it was clean and generally well equipped.

Very clean; nice towels, comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped. The balcony is lovely. Full DStv is a bonus for rainy days. The host responds quickly to queries.
