Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South Africawe arriced on Saturday 30th Dec. The first time we saw a cleaner was Tuesday 2 January. We were only left one small towel and 1 big towel per person which were only changed on Tuesday 2 Jan. When you pay so much you expect better.

South AfricaThe mattresses on all the beds were so hard we struggled to sleep during our stay. There were no table clothes or mats for the dining table and the handle on the frying pan was missing, which was a bit disappointing.
The unit was in a lovely location, close to the superette, library and the hotel. It had a lovely wooden deck to enjoy the peace and quiet on. The showers were large which was awesome. Access to free wifi and DSTV.

South AfricaWould have liked to be able to order lighter meals for dinner from the restaurant - specially with teenage kids, ie burgers & chips, pizza, chicken strips etc. These items are only available from the restaurant during lunch and early afternoon. We could not order these for dinner. Also the QR scanning for ordering dinner was not great, specially as it was not stipulated ahead of time and we had to all download a QR reader, then open and scroll back and forth through the menu. Would have used the restaurant more if the experience was better. We ended up driving to outside restaurants for the rest of the time.
Unit was great, very clean and very centrally situated within the estate. Easy access to beach, shop, restaurant etc. We enjoyed the stay and will definitely use it again in future.

South Africajust missed cleaning sponges for dishes as the unit was not serviced over the weekend. Both aircon remotes had damaged screens so hard to set. We also ran out of loo paper on the weekend which was a bit of an issue.
Loved the location. The apartment was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. We felt like it was home away from home.
