We loved our stay at Sanctuary Life Guest Farm. Wayne was a great host and the cottage was just right for us. We loved walking on the farm with our dog and sweet little Zoey and it was great to be able to have a refreshing swim on such a hot day.

Everything was perfect.

Sanctuary Life Guest Farm is a tranquil, peaceful, with the most spectacular views on the surrounding mountains. Our dogs explored and enjoyed open expanse of the Highveld grassland’s. Wayne was accommodating, helpful and a perfect host. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Rooms were clean and spacious, patio with a beautiful hillside view, I've never been to a place where so much thought was taken into how to make the guests feel more comfortable or at home, from the family board games to the DVD collection for the kids, Wayne(superhost) really created a magical stay for us and I'm glad to say we'll definitely be back.

Little slice of heaven. What a peaceful environment in the middle of nature. It was quiet, safe and relaxing. I brought my 2 dogs along and they had a ball with the resident dogs. Beautiful walking trail on the doorstep. Wayne is incredibly kind and hospitable. The unit was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We will be back!

We liked everything

This place is a little gem in the countryside. Our host, Wayne, was like a friend and we loved the dogs as well. The cottage has everything and more to make you feel at home. Here you can just sit back and relax away from the busy city life.

Peace and quiet. My partner and I were able to shout the world out and just focus on each other, and we really loved that the property easily makes this possible. And of course, Wayne, who additionally fixed a bolt on my BMW :D… We decided to add an extra day to our booking and Wayne was super helpful and made the whole process seem less. We loved Wayne!

There’s a bit of gravel to get to the property and a bit further from the shops. I’d recommend get everything you need before you go so can have a stress free stay!

Clean, helpful owner, great WiFi, cute dogs, has everything you need to make a great meal and open the door to see big empty field and has a nice farm-vibe. We stayed at Sanctuary Life for a one week workation, and got a lot of work done without feeling the city anxiety. Our little dachshund also loved the extra space and playtime with Zoey.

We wish we had seen the horses and the donkey at the farm (as per the pictures) but Wayne mentioned they went away for a show. My kids were a bit disappointed but we saw the sheep - very cute. My son got to feed one of the babies. A part of the curtains was missing in the second bedroom but we made a plan with a blanket.

We loved the spacious cottage and the view. it is very well-equipped. The farm is a nice spot to rest and enjoy the lovely scenery. Wayne is a lovely host and made us feel at home. FYI, we had lunch at the Black horse restaurant (30 min drive), a very nice spot to enjoy a nice outdoor lunch with toddlers (and see black horses).

The property is dog friendly to smaller dogs which was amazing for us. You can walk to a little spring but even just sitting on your patio is lovely.
