Loadshedding and candle smell ,some guests were drunk .Uncomfortable the use of candle the building can catch the fire at any time.At the entrance there's a stream of water and mud.🔥

Environment is quiet and comfortable and private I liked the food and especially the breakfast from the 27April until the 1stMay. The service was excellent 👌

the generator wasn't working because the battery had been stolen, so they couldn't do dinner then the gas was finished the next morning so couldn't do breakfast or even hot water for tea/coffee and there was no margarine or butter for the bread - could not do toast. Feel sorry for the staff trying to explain the sorry state of the place.

The shower was disgusting. The buffet was just a choice of 2 dishes for the starter, main and dessert of which I do not eat most of the choice . There was no ala-carte menu available. Breakfast was similar with limited choice. The surrounding needs upkeep. Water supply was intermittent.

Other than the rooms, the rest of the hotel is run down. The dam was covered in algae and overgrown, the walking trails were overgrown. The municipal dirt road to get there was terrible in the rain.

It was a pretty area and the rooms were lovely and they were very clean. Pool looked lovely. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Overall it was a nice stay.

The road from the main road to the hotel was HORRIBLE after the rain. Even more disappointing was the route in the property to the rooms. Network was bad and we couldn't get on the WIFI Place needs to be updated .

Property unkept, gardens were a bit wild, games room was a bust. Access road very rough.

Bathroom was lovely, dining room was cozy, breakfast was nice.

Check In time was delayed as the dryer for linen and towels was broken. Load shedding few times in the day was frustrating. Facilities were lacking. Games room had games with no equipment. My grandson who is 7 years old was bored because the only activity he could indulge in was the pool. Food was expensive at the hotel and other eating places were far away and very limited. Flies were all over the place : on the food / in the rooms etc. Dam attached to the resort was in a terrible condition as it was covered in thick algae and had a terrible smell. As a result all activities like boat ride/ fishing etc were non existent. Lots of maintenance required to improve upkeep of the place.

The hotel was in a good location. Rooms , linen, towels were clean and neat. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Swimming pool clean and well maintained. Rooms had good air conditioning and lovely toiletries were provided daily.

The place is old and needs urgent maintenance. Should not be called a hotel. Shower black with mold. Photos do not represent the actual accommodation. Booked for 2 nights, but stayed only for one as a result..

Need a tractor to make the gravel road inside the premises a bit more smooth because it's a challenge to get to your room if you're driving a small car 😢

Hospitality! We missed breakfast as we had to leave way too early to run a marathon. The kitchen team were kind enough to get us take away breakfast upon checking out! That was considerate of them & we're humbly grateful 🙏

The hotel has a lot of potential, but you can see that it is old, and needs a little makeover. Nothing major just a few coats of paint, mainly a pressure-wash of the bathrooms and steamcleaning the carpets. That would be a really good start. The room wasn't dirty but just old and musky.

The restaurant staff at the hotel was very friendly. The food, for dinner, was delicious! It consisted of a soup, a starter, a main and dessert.

The garden is not well kept and the couches in the room needs some cleaning. The place looks good on the pictures but totally different life
