The cleaners kept leaving towels in the driers instead of removing them and setting them aside. The apartment felt like it needed a little bit of maintenance work, like the door to the balcony wasn’t locking right and we had a two year old with us. The curtains in the apartment are very very light. When the sun rises around 5 everyone was forced to wake up and when people walk in the corridor outside they can see movement of people at night. Not a very nice sight I must add.

As always the stay was exceptional. The location is always good. Will definitely be back again as this is now my 5th stay there.

Cleaning was do be done daily, we were then informed it's every second day only for the unit to be cleaned every 3rd day. The lounge couches were torn all over. The second ensuite had water leak and could not be used. Some maintenance is definitely needed. The stove was burnt and dirty. We booked for 4 people and only had cutlery for 3

The pool area, the location was convenient. The Porters were excellent, warm and friendly. We did enjoy our stay

that there is no entertainment area after 18:00 so one is limited to be in the room (yet the balcony is very small)…but considering the money for such a place I suppose it is expected

There is no soap for bathroom, and a small milk for tea/coffee would be great. Also there is no extra blanket in the other bedroom.

The iron was dirty couldn’t put water also the don’t change the linen. Couches are not comfortable and the cash of R1500 they hold if you break something. Stuff you must wait for them on checking out date to get your refund back as they start to work at 9am. The house keeping last was rude. No extra blanket

Needs some maintenance as the units that we were allocated had a few maintenance issues, front door of both apartments seems not to fit into the frame, 1 door warped or water damaged and the other 1 do not seal out the sounds of even the traffic passing in the main road. Cupboards inside broken

The place is due for some care and maintenance- couches are worn out, the kitchen utensils also now dated. Still a good place though.

The cleaner that came through on the 1st day 21st July 2022 does nto clean properly. The nespresso coffee machine was full of dust. They need to do a proper clean. The cupboards need to be replaced. The problem areas was the kitchen. BUT, the cleaner that came through on the 22nd July 2022 was brilliant. She cleaned properly and everything was perfect. The common areas especially teh main corridors, reception etc needs a revamp. the tiles in the corridors could do with some work as well. Broken tiles and a new coat of paint on all the access doors including apartments should be looked into.

The rooms were nice and spacious. Also, accessibility for egttign anywhere in Johannesburg. The pool nd the landscaping and upkeep of it should be commended. The gardener deserves a medal for this area is definitely the best place to chill after a long travel.

Light streaming through the bedroom from other buildings at night (block-out curtains would help), lots of traffic noise from Grayston Drive and residents/visitors moving up and down the corridor wheeling suitcases. Generally, if you are used to sleeping in a quiet space, sleep is difficult at night. The quality of the pots and cutlery were substandard. Finally, promising a Nespresso machine in all communication regarding the property and then not supplying one was disappointing. All in all though, the property was safe, clean, conveniently located and fairly well furnished. if you can sleep with light and traffic noise, I highly recommend it.

Fairly clean, fabulous staff (all the positive reviews about Pretty and the team are absolutely true), the generator meant not having to worry about loadshedding, and all appliances worked well. I was most happy about the twin beds in one of the rooms and that both rooms had en-suite bathrooms.

Advertised there was a Nespresso machine, but this was not there. The property in general needs some maintenance - evidence of water leaks in kitchen, cables for the tv in 2nd bedroom exposed and running across the floor. In each bedroom, only one bedside lamp is actually plugged in.

The towels were not clean and the room service was poor. The cleaning lady only came on the day of our departure. The heaters were not working properly.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's a quiet place. I also liked that we were able to cook.
