The location in kempton park might not be for everyone. It is however conveniently close to the airport.

Alfred provided top notch hospitality and went out of his way to help us out with all sorts of things. The bed was extremely comfy, we had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning.

Safe location, excellent staff - nothing was too much trouble for Alfred. Large room and a comfortable bed. Nice garden and swimming pool, safe parking. Excellent breakfast and we were able to order food in for dinner. This was our first time in South Africa and we really appreciated the level of service and help we got from Alfred.

Only inconvenience was that the aircon wasn’t cold enough to combat the summer heat, but there was a fan supplied.

Had a great chat with the owner and made me feel welcome. The super fast wifi was a plus. Great views.

This is not the fault of the property, but if you can't stand airport noise, then this is probably not a good choice for you. It is close to OR Tambo and you will hear a lot of planes overhead.

We have stayed at this property several times. It's a great place to stay for picking up and dropping off visitors at OR Tambo. We like the unique nature of the decor and the grounds. The staff were very helpful and attentive, even offering us better rooms so we didn't have to negotiate stairs with our dogs. Oh, yes. It's pet friendly!

Charming manor house with exceptional staff. Comfortable beds. Driver collecting us from and to airport, as well as dinner, was incredibly convenient.

Amazing stay at this beautiful place. It was quite reasonably priced and I was surprised to see the cozy mansion-like place. There was a pool and the staff were very helpful. A little hidden from the main amenities or restaurants. We ordered in.

Special place with unique decor. Every room is different. I love the way roof done and all areas surrounding the manor. Everything is looked after. We have been looking after by Alfi, who was amazing! It was nothing too much to ask, very polite and humble person. Thank you for marking our 1st stay in South Africa special. I heard that they serve an amazing lunch on Sundays, so if you are there on the day worth to try. Unfortunately we have missed it. (We stay in room called Dany)

Unfortunately it was too cool to be outside and not able to use the pool, but no fault of theirs...mother nature just didnt work with us.

Amazing place to stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. Ryan was amazing and showed us everything that we needed. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was so accomodating. Khumbu was a great driver and appreciated him so much.

Loved everything.

Beautiful and safe room, home and grounds. All areas were extremely clean. Ryan was an exceptional host and took very good care of us. The breakfasts were exceptional- fresh and tasty. It is wonderful to sit in the gardens or the sunroom and just enjoy the surroundings. If you are planning a stopover and need a place close to the airport- this is ideal. But plan on more than one night. You’ll love it.

Our stay was just too short to explore all the hidden little nooks and crannies and treasures on and in the property.

Loved the old world charm with modern conveniences. Also our host Ryan Russell was fantastic!

Obviously being to close to the airport does entail hearing many airplanes passing by. However, having chosen it for the exact purpose of being close, we personally didn't mind.

The Manor is very characteristic and well-decorated and surrounded by tranquillity, giving it a cozy feeling of home. Ryan was extremely kind and helpful and has catered to every of our needs.

We stayed one night between two flights. Beautiful and spacious property, super nice staff which assisted us with transport from the airport and back to the airport the next day. The Light breakfast which included muesli with fresh fruits and coffee was great. We couldn’t ask for a better welcome in South Africa.

Telephone number was unavailable. Shuttle driver was in a different car to what we were told to expect, which made transfer stressful. Unfortunately we didn't see any part of property other than our room due to our late arrival.

The room was lovely, and the man looking after us was brilliant, despite our arrival being a lot later than expected.

Be prepared you hear airplane take off noise, but it wasn't anything we didn't expect and didn't prevent us from having a great night sleep.

The room,the property, the ambiance and service were all amazing. Ryan was so helpful and friendly. We would definelty stay there again. We stayed here for 2 wonderful nights to adjust from our 30 hour trip before heading off on a safari. It went better than expected and the owner even prepared a heartwarming and fabulous soup for us.

May be my own misunderstanding, but dis not realise airport transport was extra. But Uber was easy enough in the end.

Small touches of quality, like fresh milk in the fridge, coffee and tea facilities, quality rusks, quality linen, plush nightgowns, bed warmed by staff ready for bedtime, Ryan’s attention to all our wishes and support beyond his duties.
