As I was doing morning stretches, noticed under the bed had not been swept for some time. Empty bottles and dust under the bed.

Lovely location overlooking bay. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot has changed since my first stay there in 2001 and all for the better. Will definitely return.

Everything. Check in...Nomfundo, Alfred...everyone...everyone is so friendly and warm. our room was spectacular. We were in the superior sea facing room and that view is priceless. The easy access to the sea, the safety, the spacious bathroom and room. What a gem....

The breathtaking views from our room and the dining room were amazing. The staff were most welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my wife's birthday and the staff made it very special. A wonderful place.

I didn't enjoy the fact that I only booked two nights. I could stay there forever.

The beach-front property was absolutely stunning, with the room itself being exceptionally clean and comfortable. Every need was catered for.

Rooms are absolutely huge and have beautiful views of the sea. Staff were really friendly. We only stayed one night but would definitely return and stay longer.

An unbelievable view to the sea side with an exception al lovely, regional and organic breakfast! The staff is helpful, kind and friendly - we felt like staying with a family! Everything was super clean and even parts are wheelchair friendly because of the big sizes of the rooms and the terrace. And shuttle brings you whenever you need to the nearest places for free and the nights were super quiet and restful!

Location - although to be fair they provided a very responsive free shuttle service 6 days a week from 2-9pm Taxis to town not expensive but you need a car if staying here

Nothing - they even wash your car!

The entrance to the house is a little uninspiring but once inside the rooms are very large and have a great view over the ocean. Breakfast is freshly prepared and dinner is very good but with few options. There is a service/access road between the property and the ocean and this provides excellent walks along the coast in both directions.

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Firstly, the sea view room we had was exceptional. The views were our favourite part about waking up here, but it was also huge and very comfortable. Incredible value for money. The breakfast served is a level above everywhere! A la carte with daily specials and seriously delicious. Staff were perfect in every way - friendly, helpful. Couldn't fault them at all. There's also a complimentary shuttle to take you where you want to go which is an amazing touch. Very reliable and comfortable. Honestly this place blew us away. From the beautiful gardens to the people running it, we would return in an instant!!

Slightly worn fittings in the room. The upstairs relaxing area lacked good flow and warmth. The location is a bit remote from central Hermanus highlights such a harbours and cliff path , although this is offset somewhat by the complementary shuttle, and conveniently close to Whale Coast Mall and Hemel en Aarde Valley road..

Warm welcome and very friendly, professional and helpful service.. Unusually spacious room and lovely courtyard garden setting.. Diverse and tasty breakfast options.
