The inside of the cottage gets very hot and stuffy, a fan of airconditioning would be comfortable.

The location of the lodge is great and the hospitality of the owners was lovely.

The bed wasn't great. I would have appreciated a voile curtain on the window along the pathway.

This was one of the most well equipped kitchens. I loved the outside patio and views from the main building. Oh and of course the Dogs made our stay. Hehe.

Road to coffee bay is very bad. 20km/hr speed for 40km due to potholes. Be careful if you are travelling with a car. 4x4 is much better.

Excellent location. A must see for those that haven't visited the wild coast. Totally scenic.

The location is perfect for its wonderful views (although the last 30 km road is very bad to get to). They were always very attentive to our arrival and the instructions were very clear

Rustic accommodation but very comfortable. Hosts are ever helpful, chilled atmosphere draws you into the Coffee Bay vibe. Potholes are bad on latter half of road from N2 but worth the effort even in a non-SUV provided you're willing to take it slow - suggest one allow 2hrs daylight driving time for this section to be on the cautious side

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The pictures don’t do it justice. they’ve recently remodeled the common space deck and it’s absolutely gorgeous. seems like some of the best and highest views in all of Coffee Bay. the room was very comfy and clean. has a small kitchenette with basic needs and coffee/tea/kettle we’re provided. the host also provided us with a battery powered light for scheduled power cuts/load shedding. secure parking inside a gate too. the host was fantastic: very approachable, kind, and accommodating. she’s lived in Coffee Bay for most of her life and had lots of interesting stories to tell. we had a crawfish and steak dinner that was absolutely delicious. we loved this spot. can’t recommend enough!

I was very disappointed in the "town" of Coffee Bay. It is very run down and unkempt there are no facilities such as decent shop's it is very limited.

The coast line and views are stunning. The people are super friendly and accommodating.

The views perched above Coffee Bay of the entire bay absolutely stunning. The accommodation itself is a reflection of the laid back feel of the area. If you are looking for a casual homely feel with basic finishes then it is for you. If you are wanting 5star finishes etc then not for you. The dinner , breakfast and Michelle the Hostess.

Richard, the lodge manager is probably the most genuine person I have ever met. He is super friendly and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. He is game for anything, from organising day trips to teaching our son how to play the drum. The cottage is convenient and has everything you need. The views over the ocean are amazing.

Place is just amazing! Phenomenal views overall of the bay. Breakfast area is breathtaking Room was lovely and finely hand curated for the décor. Very cozy bed, curtains and the washroom. asbestos roofing without ceiling. No water for from 8:30-16:00 daily, and apparently for the past 7 weeks, but owner doesn’t declare until the day of arrival. Not forgetting cold showers.
