It took us almost an hour to get in because the host's didn't give us all the information prior to our arrival. We suffered first before we could get in the apartment and her attitude was really bad.

The place was exactly as advertised - which is a rare find. Great location and really pleasant and clean rooms. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea, and René was always available to answer any questions if needed. Would highly recommend it.

I truly value the site but what was booked and received are 2 different things. The photos of our lodge number 13 managed by Renee was about the quality where you would take a cheap prostitute at best. I could not have been more embarrassed to have almost checked in our customer service director here. There is no other way to describe it. There was white crud on the bedding (I almost threw up), hairs all over the place, dead bugs, and the security gate took 10 min to lock apon leaving. So much for safety if you are a female! And instead this lady is deflecting our refusal to stay in filthy accommodation by claiming our international company who sent a local staff member to assist the british person checking in, and had to borrow the staff member's phone to complete check in, isn't matching the description of the person who checked in because she doesn't understand that a business can book for someone else and why the name on the phone used to call would be different than the person checking in. She very well knew at that time that she was being helped by another person's phone because Katie needed wifi to use her whatsapp. She is now claiming that the lady who carried the british lady's bag up the stairs, has trespassed. She is rude, unprofessional, unkind, and unhelpful. But mostly this place is filthy. We were very grateful to find alternative accommodation with a proper check in procedure, super clean, and friendly just a few minutes away last minute for Katie. All with booking.com which has never dissapointed us ever before. This woman should not be permitted to rent as she does not meet hygiene standards.

I didn’t like anything from the racism we experienced till we left.

Nothing. I honestly have a huge problem with the rude owner and I want you to take accountability. We stood outside from 4 to 8 because of something that could have been fixed. I’m so mad at the owner of that apartment she’s so rude.

I had a great stay at Serengeti. The location is very convenient and the flat is nicely furnished - the bedroom and bathroom are especially nice. The check-in was also very easy. I would definitely recommend.

Nothing negative really to say about the property except maybe to propose a gas hob and kettle for coffee during loadshedding but other than that it’s was perfect

Perfect accomodation for my needs. Very clean apartment. Had all the comfort features I needed for my trip including standby WiFi and lights during loadshedding. Perfect location and close to shops and restaurants etc. Host was accommodating despite me booking on the last minute and extremely caring and kind. Will definitely use this apartment again when coming out to the area for more than a day for training etc
