The food, I wish it was stated on booking.com that the place only offers plant based food because it was unfair for plant based food to be enforced on us. People shouldn’t be given the option to choose what type of food they want. The road to the house was also bad, it’s a mission getting there.

We got into an accident with the game drive car when the brakes failed and we fell and got injured ,my watch broke and had bruises…before we left we asked if the car was in good condition since it was failing to start and we had to cut our game drive short due to the accident

It would be nice to have a shop in the reserve for basics like ice and waters. I suggest a splash pool/jacuzzi to really make the place exceptional and give guests a chance to cool off. But these are just suggestions, we really enjoyed our stay!

It was incredible being "off the grid", just the two of us in the bush. The cabin was lovely, bed really comfortable and we had awesome sightings on our bush walk with Cyril.

I think if they serviced our unit daily, would have made the stay exceptional. I must stress that the unit was clean when we arrived.

The location is amazing. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The game drive was really good too and we could get up close to the game to have a good look at the animals. The unit we stayed in was very well equipped.

I arrived earlier than check in time so understood that I had to wait for the cottage to be prepped. It was unfortunate that we still needed to wait past the check in time.

An absolute oasis away from the stressful bustling of the city. No WiFi and cell signal to allow for disturbances from the outside world. The cottage was nice and comfortable.

The door handles were broken and it felt like the back door leading to the balcony would break when trying to open and close it.

The reserve is amazing, the unit was clean and the guide was very knowledgeable about the reserve and showed us some amazing spots.

The unit was not entirely clean and we couldn't find a kitchen swab/cloth. It was rather quiet as the the main lodge was not occupied and no tv in unit.

Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Unit was very different and really comfortable. Perfect to just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature around you. We saw so many animals right from our balcony! You can freely walk around and just enjoy the tranquility and nature at your finger tips. The staff that met us were very helpful and very friendly and respectful. Lucky is a real gem! Units are designed for optimum privacy, which is really great. Fantastic bird life! It was also awesome to get free firewood!

What I don’t like is the garden suites there is no bar fridge and a small bedroom bin. Also when I made the booking via the Booking.com app, they advertised the garden suite rooms, made a booking and paid only to find it’s for the self catering. Charlie had to assist and change to the booking to one of the garden suites.

Every thing about the place is beautiful it’s tranquil. The scenery is gorgeous though I would love to see place during the summer, the game ranger said it much more beautiful. You have the most friendliest and helpful staff. The food that the chef prepared wow 🤩 honestly you can’t fault her. I’ll definitely be coming back in January 😁

The gravel road to the reserve is quite a nasty one but otherwise upkeep of the road inside the reserve was good.

Absolutely amazing location with beautiful accommodation. Waking up in the mornings to absolute silence and frosty terrain was just the most unforgettable experience.

The staff were absolutely amazing and their hospitality was exceptional. The animals are right on your doorstep and you don't have to go far to see them. Itis such amazing sites to see. Just so beautiful and peaceful altogether.

NO reception was a sad start to the getaway. Was surprised that the gate yo the lodge is like entry into some ones drive way gates. I expected to find security with an area that of Nambithi or any other resort for that matter.the intervene was nonfunctional so if one did not have a mobile then youll wait at the gate forever ,until by luck some one drives by. I waited in the rain only to realise that the intercom is an ornament with doesn't work. There was no electricity from 6 am until about 4pm on on day .no signage that assists to getting to your accomodation as I got lost driving around . Assembly points is unknown No means of communication from the accomodation.

We were a bit caught off guard by how far the cottage was from the main lodge, but mainly because the weather was bad and made the road more difficult than usual to navigate to and from.

We had coffee with a family of rhinos right outside the cottage!! Everything was spectacular - especially the food (very talented chef!) and close up view of the animals.

A very peaceful, tranquil location with magnificent views. Definitely worth visiting if you need to shutdown for a couple of days. Loved the fact that there is no network, one can completely switch off and rest

- There is a bit of a dirt road leading up to the property (around 8km if I remember correctly), but we managed to reach the property fairly easily

- The views are unbelievable - The staff was so friendly and welcoming - The food was truly incredible, the chef went all out - We saw rhinos every day while standing on the balcony - The tennis/soccer court was a fun surprise
