The fans that doesn't work in the bedrooms. The aircon does not cool off the rooms,but it helped sleeping with open windows except when it rains.

The TV's were not working in both rooms we booked that was boring.

There was no hassles about signing in and out. The place is right to the beach, you just walk to the beach.

The Ocean view, quite and exceptionally relaxing ocean noises. As well as the location being easier accessible.

Towels had some stains on them. Was windy and the small gap in windows meant a howling sound all the time . Noise by other guest was annoying at braai area

Back-up in all public, spaces including the braai area. Was a life saver. Braai carried on in load-shedding at night. The beach area is a winner. Lots of extras in the unit. Easy check inn&out.

correspondence with staff was a bit impatient/ rude. The check-in details were emailed but no attachment was enclosed on the email. I informed the staff accordingly, but subsequently all follow-up correspondence for the lock box code, wifi password etc was very abrupt with us because they said "we have sent this information". A bit of a struggle to get the key, as the code did not correspond with the safe digits. Staff were a bit impatient over the phone regarding assisting us and a bit rude to us over the phone. The Wi-Fi did not work at all, we stopped enquiring with staff because they were not polite.

Proximity to the beach was great, and the unit was well cleaned. Lovely chocolates & wine provided.

The facility had no WiFi for my teenage children. Apart from that, I loved everything about the apartments.

Location, Location, Location!!! The apartments are a stone throw away from the beach and close to public amenities. Very Clean!!!

It's my second stay and the main bedroom toilet still leaks and the washing machine plug point trips. DSTV wasn't working.

The initial communication was not sent by management to gain access to the lockbox which held the apartment keys but after waiting a short while Mpume came to our rescue. Make sure you receive the welcome msg before arriving to avoid frustration. No WIFI. There are a few minor maintenance issues with the apartment, en-suite toilet was leaking and window was not closing, ceiling in the main bathroom was falling, some windows along the apartment were cracked/damaged. Window cleaners needed access to the apartment to clean the windows which took a few hours.

I was very pleased with this property and will definitely return. The cleaning staff Mpume and Andile were amazing and very friendly. This property comes with daily housekeeping...YAY! The apartment situated such that you have a view of the ocean but not the full might of the sun so you don't often have to use the aircon. Easy access to the beach with lifeguards nearby, secure undercover parking. Remote access and in and out of the building with convenient lockup box to avoid keys going missing on the beach. Helpful and friendly 24 security onsite. It truly is a home away from home.

What I didn't like mmm, I don't think there's nothing we didn't like, the location was great, the beach was cool, they came and cleaned every morning, the beach is not far from the apartment. We loved every moment

I loved Shangri-LA my wife simply fell in love with the place, the location everything the fact that there was a washing machine and dishwasher she was through the roof and she loves the kitchen as well,

Beds and bedding needs to be improved. Also very poor curtaining in main bedroom and due to facing east, cannot sleep in late, too bright, no blockout curtains. Have to pay a breakage deposit upfront via EFT. The unit we had only had a side view of the beach and we were on a low floor, so poor views.

Can walk to the beach across the road. Kitchen was neat.

Exceptional clean. When electricity goes off the complete building on the outside has lights👍. Also your TV and WiFi still works load shedding no problem🤩

The blankets were not so clean. It will be better if the keep clean blankets in a sealed plastic as humidity also affects the freshness of the blankets.

The owner of the property is very rude, unprofessional, and arrogant . We didn't even get access to the facility that we had already payed for, and he arranged a very dirty "foul smeeling" cheap facility at a different place.
