We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeTurn the bed in room 14, so you can enjoy the amazing view!!! No power or lights when there is loadshedding. The doors are not sound proof, gab at the bottom. Please remove the rusted soap holders in the shower and replace it with decent soap dispensers. The huge wooden base of the bed makes the room small and you constantly bump your legs on the corners.
Perfect location, quiet, amazing views and right at the gate to the West Coast National Park. Lovely breakfast and staff. The interior decoration is beautiful and you can enjoy the view from most of the public areas. Lovely walks and close to Langebaan.

United KingdomWe didn’t get to use any of the hotel facilities as the restaurant was closed for a function. A few items in the villa didn’t work such as the emergency light and the heater.
Beautiful location, villas are nicely decorated with a fire place. Bring your own wood and fire lighters as they do only provide a few pieces of wood and not enough fire lighters. Staff were lovely and we checked in early.

South Africachalet was dirty and had to be re-cleaned the next day. this particular chalet (3) could do with a deep clean, fridge didn't work correctly. freezer didn't work at all. one lounge suite was about to collapse (a broken leg). wifi was diabolically bad. no inverter/batteries/solar at all, not even a lamp was provided.
location is brilliant, and peaceful chalet layout and roominess is wonderful the hotel staff were great and went out of their way to assist

South AfricaSome of the crockery was stained. The fireplace was good, but when the wood burnt out, we tried the heater, but it kept on switching on and off. The interleading door to other sections of the whole villa was a bit off-putting at first, but we learnt that it was sound proof and not easily accessible. We initially thought that he entire villa would be for us, but was still impressed with the decorating style.
We liked that we had our own braai area. The setup of the villa was convenient and practical. The fire place is a nice touch.

South AfricaWould have been nice if we were informed that the generator does not kick in after 22h00, so we were in the dark. Also, guests were coming and going long after midnight, being very loud in the passage so sleeping was not as peaceful as hoped for. Again, breakfast was average, but staff was very accommodating with seating requests. Was a bit taken back when at breakfast a lady staff member stopped us and asked whether we were staying at the Hotel, something we did not see other guests being asked.

United KingdomThe very light and open nature of this conversion from a modern mansion was great but could need greater sound-proofing on bedroom doors if a party developed downstairs. A little more knowledge of the National Park asset a kilometer away could also be an advantage - maybe leaflets on display if SANparks can supply some.
If you are planning to visit the West Coast SANpark and prefer a little luxury, this niche hotel with attitude is for you! Rooms are spacious and food excellent, bringing popularity with local people. Staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. with printing boarding passes). The area is quiet and full of interesting birds - an eagle owl sat on our balcony at dusk, while sun-birds flitted by day - and a great beach (with Shark Bay Shack service) is just a short walk. It was good that the hotel has a generator in view of Eskom load-shedding!
