loved the location & the hotel. could do with some basic maintenance. I know its right by the lagoon & sea but windows could be cleaned for the amazing views. Staff were amazing & very friendly, meals (dinner) were really good

More sights ! Its really difficult to find the hotel especially at night ! If reception is open till 10 pm… must be open till 10 Nightwatchman very helpfull at arrival !

At Shark Bay Lodge, the breathtaking view captivated me, painting a serene canvas of nature's grandeur. Coupled with impeccable service, every moment felt like a cherished escape into tranquility.

Only thing I would suggest to improve is the balcony needed a scrub after the storms (chairs had water on them which had left mud and some bird muck). If the windows could have been cleaned too that would have made it.

When booking the property should have notified us that their was a considerable number of steps as one of our party is not able to walk up and down stairs.

The room is not soundproof. During busy times it can get very noisy. Apart from that, everything else was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at Shark Bay Hotel for 3 nights in March. The room was beautifully appointed and spacious, very comfortable bed and nice quality linen. The staff were all wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The views from our room were to die for! Looking forward to visiting soon again.

For the price we paid, we expected more than we received. The TV kept going off, no one to help with luggage, I had to carry the iron and ironing board I asked for back to my room myself, the breakfast wasn't exactly lavish, cappuccinos with breakfast were not included in the price. We just didn't feel cared for which was disappointing at over R4 000 per night.

The location is good with beautiful views. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

- wifi signal is terrrible - at this price point there could be some power supply backup during loadshedding - there was no drying cloth for dishes - there could be at least 1 bag of wood supply for the braai

I loved the sea view when downing and looking at it from the balcony.

The view of the ocean is amazing. You can take a run as the community is safe and a few people are running in the morning.

The hot tub was not what we were expecting. It is heated by burning logs (not electric) and, although we were provided with logs and firelighters, we didn’t have matches (or kindling). The nice gentleman from the hotel tried to help (by lighting a firefighter on the gas stove and carrying it to the hot tub and dropping it in the fire area) but it didn’t work.

A bit funny smell

Very nice and spacious villa with modern look, great view for the Shark Bay, clean and well equipped.

Better signage for the villas. A resort pool and activity/leisure facilities. Cleaning services are not very good - the windows were very dirty. The temperature of the hot water from the gas geysers were very low - this was adjusted when it was brought to attention however the temperature of the hot water dropped shortly thereafter again. The smell of the linen and towels was odd and the linen and towels were stained/dirty - a better detergent could be used
