United KingdomBoth my partner and I couldn’t stop smiling as soon as we arrived. Every staff member was so lovely and helpful. The food was different each meal time & was so nice! We stayed here for 3 nights which was the perfect time! If you’re lucky enough to have Colin as your guide and Mosco as your tracker then you’re in for a treat. They were so knowledgable and friendly and made our trip amazing! If you said you’d love to see a zebra then they’d go over and above to try and find it for you. Would recommend this place to everyone we speak to!

United KingdomThe only criticism I would have is that we were asked for dietary requirements before arriving, which we gave, me and my friend don’t eat meat but we eat fish. The first night they had fish and pasta as our main, which was great! But then the following 2x nights and then our meals for our day trip to Kruger were all meat based. I just wish that they looked at the dietary requirements that they asked for. However, there were still plenty of sides/salads that filled us up. Our final night, I think because they felt bad, they’d cooked us some fish but they came to us 1hr into the meal to tell us this so by this point we were already full of veggies. The food was still amazing and despite this, I would certainly go back! I would just say that perhaps mention it a few times if you have any dietary requirements so they remember!
Overall this experience was great! The staff are there to greet you from the get go, they’re always there to help! The game drivers are lovely and very knowledgeable! We even got to walk close to some cheetahs, I can’t recommend this place enough! They also offer day trips to Kruger if you still want to experience the famous national park! During our final breakfast, the staff came out to perform a traditional happy birthday dance for one of the guests, it was an amazing experience to watch it!

AustraliaThe wifi connectivity did drop in and out which sometimes made things difficult. It would also be handy to have the door between the shower and outdoor shower open.
The personal touches and experiences - the team went above and beyond. Everyone was absolutely lovely! We stayed in the Superior Suite - it was magical. The guides made sure we saw as much as possible and with the best views. Overall we had a wonderful time with a luxury vibe.

Food was absolutely exceptional. The range of fresh fruits and salads at every meal was out of this world. Despite the searing summer heat they also hosted a brai to really make us feel at home in South Africa. An effort is made to change the location of your meals each day which is such a lovely touch. There are a lot of negative reviews about the wifi, but you are in the bush, so it might be worth taking a reality check if you think you’ll have top notch wifi. You’re there for nature after all. The guides were outstanding. We were incredibly lucky to have Peter as our tracker and Peter as our guide. They could not have been more hospitable in terms of sundowners and refreshments, but were also always focused on safety along with maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times. We also got to see some incredible things on safari too. All in all, this is an amazing place and would fully recommend for a less commercial safari than normal.

GermanyThe accommodation/facilities were not as well-maintained/clean as shown in the pictures on booking.com. Poor noise insulation - you can hear pretty much everything from the room next door.
The game drives were superb. Both the ranger and the tracker (Charlie and Peter) were extremely knowledgeable, went above and beyond to show us whatever animal we wanted to see, and were just overall super fun to be with. It was Charlie and Peter who made our trip an experience we'll never forget and will forever be thankful for - thank you so much!

BrazilEveryone in the staff is so happy all the time, really polite and peaceful people. The game drives were perfect; we could see all the big 5 and many more animals during our 4 game drives. Our guides tried hard all the time to find the animals. And about the food…the food there is PERFECT. From the mini breakfast before the game drives to the dinner, nothing could be better. There were so many options, flavors…astonishing. Shiduli is a huge property, with great facilities.

South AfricaTo be fair, the lodge is a four star establishment with five star service, so yes some minor touches are lacking but it's understandable. Overall, it is excellent value. There is little to complain about.
The food was very tasty and well presented. The service from all the staff: from the waiters, to the gardeners, to the chefs and the rangers and also from the management was always excellent and with a smile, which is notable and highly appreciated because life is tough for everybody. A special word of mention about Happy, our ranger and Floyd, who were both outstanding. The game was also plentiful and the ranger and tracker team went out of their way to ensure that we had a great safari experience.

BelgiumIf I'm being picky: I never understand why hotels use white light bulbs in rooms, instead of more yellow/warm ones. The storage room was a bit limited for 2 adults, so we kept some clothes in our bags.
Breakfast was wonderful and very tasty. You have your pick of eggs and then a buffet. Enough options for vegetarians (like us), I never had the feeling I wasn't accommodated. The same goes for lunch and dinner; there was always a vegetarian option. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the common areas as well. Prices for drinks are very affordable. The guides/rangers were very friendly and knowledgeable, they definitely made our stay even better.

BrazilThe experience is simply AMAZING! We were excited to do our first game drive, but what we didn't know is how lucky we were to have picked Shiduli as our hotel. The team is very warm and is concerned to your well being at all time. The accommodation is very cozy and they organize it and clean it twice a day. The 2 game drives we do per day are a must, since every game drive is a different experience and the rangers/guides/trackers are 100% open to help you find the animals you are looking for. Really a great experience and would definitely recommend Shiduli and all the Karongwe Portfolio branches to everyone.
