Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomShower tap is fiddly, no drinking water, a bit of a hike by foot through some rough dodgy places to get there - especially at night. In vehicle is fine.
I like location up in Signal Hill and the layout of hotel. Gardens are very pretty. Secure parking for my motorcycle. Hiking in Signal Hill and Lions Head is perfect

South AfricaI made a mistake with my dates when I made the booking and accepts my mistake. No attempt was made to help me when we arrived for either an arrangement for accomodation for the night of the 7th (I had to ask) nor any sort of compensation for the night of the 9th, even if it was just a voucher for another day. I honestly hope that the 2 rooms we booked and paid for on the night of 8 May was not rented to someone else. The breakfast was very poor. No waiter to welcome you, nobody asked if you would like some propper coffee. No glasses to pour your juice into. No side plates. We ordered medium eggs, got served hard eggs. When the order was taken, we were not informed that we need to toast our own bread, so when the breakfast arrived, we had to go and prepare the toast, causing the eggs etc to he cold. Very dissapointing The picture quality of the limited TV channels was very very poor. The energy saving hot water system was not that hot.
Nice view and good nights rest. We were allowed to work in one of the common areas before book in time.

South AfricaThe water temperature in the shower was tepid - I wouldn't stay here in winter. The staff need to be called whenever you wish to use the bottom gate. I understand the need for security given the area but perhaps a keypad system would be better?
The view from the balcony was spectacular! The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed and good bedding. The Lodge is safe but I wouldn't walk around the area at night.

The staff were so kind and caring, made you feel welcomed and the room was so nice and peaceful especially after a nice day out, you come back to sitting at the balcony and watching the sky’s magnificent color pallet.

The staf, especially Nadine Theron, were very sollicitous and helpful. The views from various seating areas were superb. Very quiet. The walk downhill into town takes only sbout 20 minutes from the lower gate, but we took taxis (firm recommended by hotel) back up after the first day.
