Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Germany-Rooms are functional but way too small, especially if you stay more than 2-3 days. There is no dedicated wardrobe, no enclosed area for bathroom. It is different modules for each, the sink is in the room and it is weird if you want privacy as you hear all the sounds. -There is no minibar/fridge in the rooms and they don’t sell anything after 22:30. since the options in the late evening are very limited in Cape Town due to the insecurity, it is pity not to have any decent options offered by the hotel. -There is no kettle in the room. so you have to go outside to take hot water from the coffee machines in the floor to make yourself a tea. -Coffee machines are not enough for a good quality coffee. -Bed is really uncomfortable and the air conditioning doesn’t function the best.
-Location is good, close to the city center and Waterfront even by 10-15 min walking. -The room is being cleaned every day. -Having an open, small patio area in front of the hotel is a nice option. There is always security but when you leave the patio especially after the sky is dark, it might be dangerous and full of beggars. -Breakfast is decent, 7/24 usable coffee machines on each floor is a good idea. They also offer water at the reception and the water is purified in the room so you can always drink it.

ZimbabweRecommendation: consider attaching clients meals/ extra services to their rooms so that they pay them ONCE on check-out. Paying for a meal or snack everytime you have it gives clients "unnecessary" transaction costs which are a bit higher on visa cards.
My "home" whenever I am in Cape Town. The complementary coffee machines at each floor of the building always make my days- Cappuccino anytime I want it! Courteous staff. Fresh food

IrelandLocation is good for city centre. However cape town city centre is not always the safest. Nice patio area out the front than can be used and feels safe as there is always security people there, however use with caution. The area during daytime seems safe, but in the evening / night time there are a lot of people just standing around in the shadows and groups of young males. So pre booked taxi to anywhere is advisable.
Nice modern interiors. Small foyer and breakfast area but well appointed and not over crowded. Rooms were small but functional and nice and bright with big windows. Breakfast was excellent and staff were super friendly.centrally located.
