My Flight was early in the morning and my check out was at 6h45 and unfortunately I cudnt get my deposit back bcz people who check the rooms only arrive at 7am and they still need to go check if all is well and todate I'm still waiting for it till now the is no communication nothing.

They tried to allocate us earlier than the normal check in time, however the was problems with the room aircorn so we had to wait from 8am to 12pm but i do appreciate that they tried .

I was told that a hand towel and a bath towel was missing which was highly impossible, definitely the cleaning staff did not put the correct amount of towels in the room i offered the staff to search my bags and vehicle but they refused, so i had to fore feet my deposit which was totally unacceptable in my opinion, so in future i will not stay at any Gooderson Hotels and will advise people on my experience.

The check-in is little bit challenging for someone who come for a business meeting at before 3pm..I should go around with my laptop dying battery..and my bags..mxm.. maybe you should consider 12pm check in

The check out is very strict, while checking our room while we not Der,, atlist one person can stay behind while we been checked,,, nd we should be assisted with pots washing scrubs,, its not easy to remember those while shopping,,, Wi-Fi should not be limited,,, this can make u loose customers as majority of hotels offer Wi-Fi unlimited,,, imagine going to shop for data at night😭

The hotel is next to the beach,,, we got the room with sea facing,,, nd the place is very clean,, the cleaner was very friendly nd very helpful,, she smiled through out,, nd she was very confortable with us,,she also told us about the two room apartments we were not aware of, nd we went to check them out,, nd we defenetly taking them on our next visit.

The rooms are not sound proof so every time someone moved their furniture it was pretty noisy. There was a family making noise well past midnight and moving furniture around till 1am. The next day when we reported to the reception they seem to have intervened because the next night was not noisy.

The location is perfect for anything Ushaka. The beach was clean and quiet and perfect for a morning or evening walk.

The parking arrangement was not safe. As a single woman I did not feel safe when parking my car in the manual lock up single garage. I had to get out of my vehicle, unlock and open the garage manually and then park the car. I struggled to re-lock the garage door which was bent. The automatic gate at the back of the property to get back into the hotel was not working, there was no intercom, and I was left standing in the street after dark, with all my luggage, waiting for someone to let me in.

The room was comfortable, clean and all the appliances worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Durban beachfront/CBD.

I did not like the fact that there was no free WIFI. I mean in this era and time why cant there be access to free wifi? The voucher that was said to be free was not really worth it. Please be reminded that nowadays technology is advanced and if anything at least include the charge in the accommodation but WE NEED WIFI

The water was cold in the shower, this was during the night we checked in. We needed to shower due to traveling fatigue so as to relief and relax our bodies but it was disappointing to shower with cold water. The Ironing board was not available. J
