Some of the lights in the room did not work. Some of the dstv channels did not work due to poor signal. I reported this on 2 occasions.

A word about privacy. We were two friends. There was no privacy for the shower and toilet, as the shower was in the same room as the bedroom and the toilet had no door. The hotel didn't offer dinner: a bit disappointing.

The stay was very pleasant. The staff were very kind and attentive. The room was very large and well equipped. The enclosed garage was a definite plus.

The water pressure and volume for the shower is variable. Our guess is that the shower runs off a centrally shared system - so if someone in another unit is also showering the water pressure is very average. Without contention the shower is great. The toilet is open plan into the bathroom into the bedroom - so if toilet privacy is a thing for you, the room we stayed in is going to be very uncomfortable!! Also, the bedroom and bathroom are up a reasonably steep flight of stairs. If you have problems climbing stairs then avoid this room at all costs!! We had to park in the street - which is always an uneasy feeling - but we were assured it was safe and that there was security in the area - and our car was fine the following morning as had been promised. Lighting in the room is a little subdued - giving it a bit of a bush lodge type feel. Not great if you want big bright light.

The bedroom and bathroom are all one open plan room. So lots of space. Beautiful King-size-plus bed with clean linen. A nice open plan bathroom with tons of space. Great bath. No shortage of soap, bath gel and shampoo. Decent tea and coffee station. DSTV - although with a slightly limited bouquet. Lots of windows to open up if the weather is good. Our litmus test for any place we stay at - would you go back there again? The answer to this is absolutely yes!! The positives far outweigh the negatives.

The whole place felt old and worm out. furniture were chipped. Fixtures were not all working and lights, carpets and drapes were old.

Spacious room and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Bathroom was quite large but outdated.

The booking said breakfast included, I was shocked when my guest were told to pay R140 per person for breakfast. This left a disappointing and unsettling feeling in my heart.

Only things I can think of is maybe the pool to be a little more tidy and the water fountain working. Oh and the “honesty bar” to be open a little later. We would’ve definitely enjoyed it after we came back from dinner.

The decor, the vibes, the feels and the staff!! It’s such a unique place and right up our alley. It definitely wasn’t 4 walls and a door. I was in South Africa but had an Asian flair with meditation garden, pool, fountain, fire pit and lush greens. And the amazing staff!! They made us feel right at home and even helped out with a little spider we found in our bathroom!! Sorry Charlotte, there’s no room for a 3rd!! lol.

I liked everything but experienced difficulty connecting to the Wifi in the room upstairs.

Lighting is a bit dark in the room but a very minor issue.

Please increase the breakfast menu options, also parking is a MAJOR issue. Only 2 cars can fit inside the locked gate, the other parking is open, please may you look at providing additional secured parking for guests.

This was our second time staying at Singa Lodge, a good stay overall. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The staff is also very friendly, Thuli was extremely helpful and efficient.

Staff werent rude but werent the most welcoming, room was up a very steep spiral staircase so may be difficult for some people.

Room was nice, left very early so didnt experience any of the other facilites. Location also isnt bad
