Toilet not ideally situated (not closed off). Not ideal if not travelling alone. No tea or coffee available in the room (inconvenience of having to go into the communal kitchen to get either tea or coffee). A very bored night manager who appeared totally out of place. So not interested in assisting in the morning and was more interested playing with her cell phone.

1. The place was grimy. This included the floors, bathroom, cupboards and linen. 2. There was no water availability during Electricity load shedding. 3. Our room was near some pumps/condensers that could be heard throughout the night.

They didn't change the towels and bed sheets for the entire duration They generator didn't go on automatically during load shedding, we had to call, wait for someone to turn it on The cleaning staff wasn't friendly and moaning when asking for help

All sheets and towels were dirty same as all surfaces which was extremely disgusting. The room was not cleaned during our stay just the bed was made every day. Used cups werent exchanged and toilet paper was not provided. The power always went off in the mornings and evenings which we were already used to from SA and wouldnt bother about. However the guesthouse apparently did not have a generator so that there was also no water neither in the mornings nor in the evenings. The stay made our last two days in SA quite uncomfortable while we were very happy with all other accommodations before. For our last two days in SA we would have been better off sleeping in our car.

the linen and towels had marks on which we thought were rust marks. there were no tea making facilities in the room and you had to go to the communal area to make a cuppa especially in the mornings which did not suit

Communal kitchen is a problem when there are many people staying there. When families rent a few rooms they tend to take over the house. Not enough space in fridge. Also people do not properly clean after they used the kitchen. We wanted to make a pizza in the oven, but the rack was extremely dirty. Especially difficult to share spaces with people during Covid times.

Very nice to wake up each morning with a beautiful view of the sea.

There was no bar fridge in the room. The fact that you have to share a kitchen with other residents is not convenient. In addition, the breakfast should be more complete and included in the price. Internet in the rooms were not functional. Could only get internet in the communal lounge.

please could you iron or tumble dry your sheets! looked as if someone had slept in my bed…I did see the TINY wash line situated on the shady side of property, impossible to hang bedding on, replace the pots and pans they’re shoddy looking and haven’t been cared for, no handles on pots and lids.
