The house is definitely suitable for a huge family and or family and friends due to the amazing cottage outside. This was one of the few houses with coffee and tea available at no additional cost. There was a bag of wood that we enjoyed on the cold evening. Decor is amazing. This is just an amazing house with enclosed yard for your pet and super safe. Thank you for your kindness. Will definitely be back.

Very central to the village, almost everything in easy walking distance. No special view of the countryside from the house itself, and just a block or two away is a lovely walk to the dam.

Nothing that we did not like! Even the family doggies were extremely @ home and enjoyed the space to run around.

The house was extremely neat. The bedrooms all have en-suites, dstv, and a gas stove and gas heater. Firewood was easily accessible. Property is very secure. Our stay was most enjoyable.

Our 3 night stay at Skye High Cottage was fabulous. Stunning, historic house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, (including a separate cottage outside), made for a very comfortable stay for all of us. The dogs absolutely loved the large, fenced-in garden (beautiful, rolling lawns) and we had a lovely braai under the spacious covered patio in the back garden. The location of the property is excellent - walking distance to everything in town, yet also in a nice quiet street. Very close to the Dullstroom Dam, which was lovely for walking the dogs. Greg, the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful and had lots of info about places to visit and the local restaurants.

The house was very spacious for our group of eight adults. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, neat and tidy and the beds comfy. The indoor fire place is the bonus point of this facility as we gathered around it for the evening. The pick up point for the keys is close by and the wifi is a plus. Will recommend this place for travellers.

Hostess was very accommodating and helpful on every situation and question. Very good response time when we struggled with hot water in one bathroom. Nice fire place and warm beds. Very clean. Very good location.

the braai stand was not cleaned and the outside seating on the cottage porch was not cleaned, there must be another outside area to accommodate the main house.

The facility is okay for a family or group of couples.

The shower tap just comes off when you turn it on. The blinds in one of the bedrooms just fell down when we tried to open them, and the curtains in the lounge were old and seemed scruffy, the outside of the property looked unkempt, however the comfort and proximity to town made up for it.

The beds were very comfortable, the fireplace was a great help. The water was hot enough. The location was very easy to get to town and was a help not having to drive everywhere.
