The staff went extra mile to make us feel welcome.”We were disappointed to find that the room did not have a bar fridge, we brought some drinks and food that required refrigeration, they went bad because we did not have a place to store them. Until the following day when the staff members offered to put some in their main kitchen fridge. Please equip every room with a bar fridge, it was the first time we experienced this because in all the accommodation/places we used previously even those which were cheaper, were equipped with a bar fridge.
We did not like breakfast menu for Saturday, however the menu for Sunday was the best. Please provide this option all the time. A perfect and quite place for relaxation and peace of mind. We would definitely come back provided there is a bar fridge in the room.

It was nice to sit outside under the tress.

The location and staff were great. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Well located for weekend getaway from the city (Johannesburg). The staff were excellent from when we arrived to checking out. Plenty of activities available. Great spots for a picnic. Breakfast was good.

The tree and grass work is amazing. the sheets where crisp”The food was not great but everything else made up for it. Most items on the menu were ‘fried’ options and I was looking for fresh farm vegetables considering that Sondela is located in an agricultural mecca!
The location is heavenly, the purple flower petals were such a dream
