I made a very last minute booking, and the host was incredibly accommodating and hospitable. The accommodation itself is a private, impeccably clean, and inviting space with a minimalist modern design that exudes coziness. It's equipped with all the essentials you might need. Upon arrival, I was greeted with beautiful flowers and thoughtful welcome gifts. The property offers stunning mountain views and boasts two charming courtyards. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the main bedroom is equipped with effective blackout curtains. Additionally, the convenience of self-check-in and check-out makes it a breeze to come and go as you please. This place is perfect for those looking for a hassle-free, lock-and-go experience.

Only downside was with the electricity blackouts it meant no hot water for quite a few hours a day. But the host did offer for me to use her houses shower!

Amazing location a few moment walk up the hill from the main road in Kalk Bay. Charming sheltered and sunny private courtyard; all mod cons; stylish design; super comfy bed and spacious open plan lounge and kitchen. Daphne the host was very friendly and helpful, even providing new fresh flowers from her garden next door! Would definitely recommend it

everything was absolutely perfect. Wonderful interior, fantastic location, very clean with all the amenities you could need and gives a very homely feel. two separate outside areas to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine or just to breathe in the divine smells of Daphne’s garden. Daphne is a fantastic host who considers every little detail to make it the most wonderful stay. My boyfriend said as we walked in: “instant 5 star review” Thank you Daphne! Wish we could have stayed longer!

nothing really, we did know it had Mountain View’s before we booked, but a sea view is just so nice, but very difficult to get in Kalk Bay

really nice stay here. the host, Daphne was absolutely charming. there were some lovely touches, such as tea coffee milk a welcome bottle of wine and flowers awaiting our arrival. we also got some delicious shortbread left on one of the days which lasted a couple of days.

Only one tiny little issue was the diluted body wash, dishwashing and hand wash liquids . very good reason why explained and understood however it would be good to know ahead to make sure guests bring their own if required.

A harder bed for my husband and I would have been better but that is because we both have had back ops, and each to their own when it comes to preference of a hard/vs soft bed. Never-the-less the linen was divine and luxurious making our sleep ideal.

A beautiful guest house in a beautiful location with gorgeous shops and restaurants that we wished we had had time to explore. And how I wished I brought my costume so I could just walk down the road to jump into the sea!

The apartment was very spacious and the hosts were AMAZING. The location is perfect. There are various restaurants, markets and beaches/tidal pools in walking distance. The area is also safe. I loved the recycling and green initiatives in the apartment! Overall great time with an amazing host who went out of her way for us to have a good time even though we booked at very short notice.

Hard to fault it. Daphne, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was immaculate and in a quiet and secure location.

It was in a perfect position to explore Talk Bay and its surroundings on foot.

Very private, lovely owners, beautifully decorated apartment, very quiet neighborhood. They practice recycling aswell. There was a bottle of white wine on the counter which was a lovely welcoming gift. The linen was of good quality and the furniture was comfortable.
