It's not anything I didn't like. It's just two suggestions. It would be great if there was a hand-held shower in the two bath tubs to make bathing the kids easier. All 4 bedrooms have a perfect little nook space underneath the drawers. A stool would fit perfectly below there and a mirror would fit perfectly above there for somewhere to dry your hair, do your makeup etc.

I liked pretty much everything about the house 😀 and Venique was so helpful and Lelani was so sweet.

Slightly complicated card payment process involving manual forms. I used a virtual card for the online payment which added an additional layer of complexity, but even with a normal card there is some additional admin needed when checking in. Have generally not experienced this when paying by card at other Booking.com venues.

Luxury finishes, well stocked kitchen, spacious upstairs outdoor area and downstairs internal braai for colder/wet weather. Just bring your clothes and everything else is sorted. Both the on-site staff are EXTREMELY helpful and friendly! Will go back first chance I get 🤞

The showers and appliances needs a good clean but really an amazing place and value for money. A patch of grass for smaller kids to play outside would be great but not a necessity.

The fact that the breakage fee was only communicated a day prior to the check inn because its not a small fee. I went back to the booking to try and find whether I overlooked it but I could not find anything pertaining to this fee. This however still doesnt put any damper on this phenomenal place!

Everything about this place is fantastic! The pictures does not do it justice but its a wonderful experience. Do not hesitate, hit the reseve button right now :)

small parking garage for one car for a unit that sleeps 8. Other cars parked off street One downstairs bathroom only has a bath, no shower (some might not mind this) Additional R5500 breakage deposit a bit steep

Spatalla unit 3: large en-suite bedrooms, airy and light, lovely entertainment and braai areas - one indoor wood braai upstairs, gas fireplace indoors downstairs. Venique was an excellent host!

The house boasts many different spots where one can relax, have fun and wind down. The staff are absolutely lovely, and very friendly. The location is also fantastic, we did a trail walk in the nature reserve - and after went down to the beach. We were in units 4 and 6 - and were very happy.

On arrival, I realised that one of the bedrooms (bigger of the 4) was unusable as the ceiling was collapsing. I brought this to the attention of the staff but no further assistance was provided. The smell of damp was untenable in this bedroom and eventually the ceiling fell down on Day 2. I sent an email to the agent as well as to Booking.com to lodge this complaint as I would have expected to be notified of this beforehand and given the opportunity to proceed with the booking or find alternative accommodation. Deeply disappointing and put a dampener on our stay. Staff told us that they didnt have contractors available at that time to assist prior to our arriving but once the ceiling collapsed, and I assume as there was a consecutive booking to our stay, we were asked to allow contractors, who were miraculously found, in while we were still staying there. This was the straw that broke the camels back. Totally unacceptable and disrespectful.

I liked the space as well as the decor very much. The kitchen was fully stocked and the pool and braai facilities were great too.
